President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I'm guessing that the families of our 13 slain servicemen/women and the Afghanis that fell from the sky don't really consider that CF a success.
I'm guessing that the ending to every war in the history of mankind didn't work out as well as hoped for everyone.
But when the vast/overwhelming majority view it as a success, I guess we should go ahead and recognize it as a success.

You're looking at it the wrong way. The right doesn't cram change down throats, the right crams resistance to change, or the demonization of change down peoples throats.

Finally. What you are saying is that your sides wants sudden radical change and the right wants something more evolutionary. Your side wants everybody to jump over the cliff, and the right is saying "not so fast". There really is a difference even if you are unable to see it. Slower doesn't mean reverse unless you see things from your biased relative perspective - that things not moving in concert with your views are moving backwards and in opposition.

That is ABSOLUTELY NOT what I am saying. I was actually pretty clear. Change - it's inevitable - it's going to happen - period.
The right tries to resist and slow it as much as possible (to the pain and suffering of many), the left tries to speed it up.
Take women's voting rights, civil rights, child labor laws, anti-slavery movement as a few in a long line of examples.

LOL

I guess when the economy and culture is treating you as well as it apparently is right now, you view things a little differently. Happy for you guys.
A person's perspective is influenced by many things, many have been programmed to have the worst perspective possible.

How about the hundreds of thousands of humans killed because we went into a false war in the ME in the first place? Leaving that hole is a success

So the sooner we accept and say the words “Jawohl mein Fuhrer”, the sooner it will be over, and we might be spared the unpleasantness of being retrained? There's just no fanaticism and no totalitarianism that lives up to necessary social change done the liberal way. Your side won't be happy until we have the American Pol Pot running things.

I'm leaving the luther struggle to the rest of you and moving to something more sane like getting the new routers to like the internet and network.

Negative changes to society should be resisted. That's the concept you don't understand. It's not good just because the govt you ignorantly support says so. Leave people alone!

No one said negative changes were good.
That's as dumb as saying resisting and demonizing positive change is good.

You constantly promote and support agents of negative change. Leaving people alone is a positive change you resist. You do the opposite of what you posted. People promoting ideas like yours need to be demonized

I agree, we should have never been there in the first place. That doesn't excuse the terrible mismanagement of the exit.
Sure it was a **** show but no one else ended it. We lose more service members in a week due to these ridiculous wars than were lost that day. The 13 lives are tragic but let's not hold them up as the reason leaving was wrong given what the 2 decades cost this country

That makes zero sense.

Take the examples from earlier........slavery, child labor, women voting, civil rights
Nothing positive about "leaving people alone" in those instances.
But I get it. It's been that way throughout the history of man. It's going to continue to be that way. It's the struggle that moderates the speed of change. I can live with that; it's just the methods used to slow the speed which lead to unnecessary pain and suffering that I have a problem with. Civility should always be paramount to both sides.....and that is exactly what Trumpism tried to eliminate. (Because they understood where a civil process would rightfully lead)

You have the hilariously named antifa fighting for the left and are calling for civility?

Leave people alone is the opposite of slavery. You get that right? The current regime you support has nothing in common with those who sought to abolish slavery. In fact, the actions of the dem party leaders are the opposite when you actually read their history.

Slavery was a reality. You get that right? Leaving people alone wasn't the answer.
Women were denied the vote. You get that right? Leaving people alone wasn't the answer.
etc....etc.....etc.....
When people are "fat and happy", they desperately wish to be left alone. But if their fatness and happiness are coming on the shoulders of the starving and miserable, then leaving people alone is certainly not the answer.
