President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

You mean if the GOP ran a worthless POS (like romney) who would roll over for the dems, you'd vote for him over biden? In other words if the GOP ran a RINO with no spine, no conservative tendencies, no attempt to strengthen the country or move back to real values (the MAGA boogieman), etc, then in reality they just be running another dem but with an R behind the name.
I strongly believe that the way to heal this country is to move away from the insane partisanship, the increasing divide, the defining of the other side as the enemy......basically, the exact opposite of what Trumpism represents.

In a post-COVID / post-Trump world...........same as you. We knew climbing out would be necessarily painful.
Biden has done plenty that wasn't "necessary". He's a bad President. Own it. He's not done close to a "good job", so I don't see how you can say he's doing "fine". Even on your continuum, Luther, nothing about his performance is "fine".

Not that anyone cares, but I'll regale you with a little story of a manager that I used to work for that literally spent $50k over the period of less than half a day to save 2 hours of production, so he could get his bonus for the month. We had a hydraulic power unit that had a cracked pipe and was puking out hydraulic fluid and this wasn't the cheap stuff, this was the $25+/gallon fyrquel expensive stuff. He had a super sucker brought in to clean up the fluid as it leaked and every gallon of the stuff he could find from our bulk suppliers to refill the tank. Once the day ended it was shut down and fix the leak. I really despise people like that. He blew over $50k to get himself (just guessing) a $5k monthly bonus.
That story exemplifies much of what is wrong in this country. That is the very definition of greed, and greed is always bad.

If you "strongly believe" that, why do you never condemn the strong pull far left that basically brought about Trumpism as a response? You don't appear to be against "insane partisanship" as a whole, Luther. Just when it's exercised by the right.

Unfortunately, it's not let's do what's best for the company or employees, it's let's do what's best for management in the short term. Until those attitudes change, we're doomed.

If if’s and buts were candy and nuts.

Biden becomes the nominee and he will have your vote.
Just depends. And I certainly hope he doesn't get the nomination; it would almost be as bad as Trump or Desantis getting the R nomination. Can't imagine anyone supporting any of the 3 in a primary.

I guess maybe reasonable people can sometimes disagree.

No it doesn’t.

If Biden is the nominee you will vote for him.

Because I do not believe there was a strong pull left prior to Trumpism.

I'd agree with you, except you, like most others, always think the problem lies with the other side. In other words you automatically discount the opinions of those who disagree with your political philosophy. Personally I feel if your side wasn't so hellbent on changing things overnight we'd probably evolve to a reasonable position in time. I've noticed for a long time that liberals prefer radical change to evolutionary change, and that by nature polarizes everything.

Change seems to fast from the right and too slow from the left. It has always boiled down the rate of change (and how much unnecessary pain and suffering occurs along the way.)

In other words you were blind to the outrage the rest of us felt during the obama reign ... because it was just alright with you.
Nope. I was aware. Personally, I felt it was largely unjustified and a product of Fox type right-wing propaganda.

The left has always believed you can legislate and force social change. Anybody with common sense and just a bit of experience dealing with other humans knows that people generally react negatively to forced change. For people who "believe in science and the theory of evolution", your crowd just doesn't get it ... or much of anything else that's rational.

Mighty open minded of you.
Like your previous post? lol....
The right's outrage with Obama was as justified as the left's calling Bush a racists.
Idiot extremists on both sides. Right-wing propaganda/Trumpism just raised the idiot extreme on the right from 3% to 28%.

I keep hearing about right wing extremists/domestic terrorists, but I just don't see them marching anywhere near me.

Other than the Patriot Act and a national outcry over 9/11 (both of which were supported by both sides of the congressional aisles) what radical behaviors and modifications to our overall social structure did Bush and the "right" shove down anybody's throat? Saying we aren't willing to go over a waterfall is not at all the same as paddling like hell toward the abyss. Resisting overnight change is not the same as fomenting overnight change, but I don't expect you or other liberals to understand that.

You're looking at it the wrong way. The right doesn't cram change down throats, the right crams resistance to change, or the demonization of change down peoples throats.
