President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Why don't you provide a link supporting your claim of devastation and we'll take it from that angle.
The devastation cannot simply be reduced or throughly described by “A link”.

But if I was forced to provide one to support my claims, here you go. Start on page 1, take your time, and watch as you wake up from your dream . It will be tough but therapeutic at the same time.

President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

If you surveyed people who consumed right-wing media, it would be about 10 out of 1000.
If you surveyed people who do not consume right-wing media, about 500 would approve.

If you surveyed 1000 people who do not consume right-wing media, about 900 would be glad Trump is out of office.

Dang right wing media must have got the democrats again!!!

If he’s the candidate you will vote for him again.
I will not vote for him in any primary. If he is running against Trump or Desantis, I would vote for Biden.
If he were running against a moderate anti-Trumper, I would not vote for Biden.

Yes, I’ve read your dissertation on primaries.

Elections are what they are. Sometimes you gotta hold your nose and vote for whatever reason.

What’s hard for me to believe is based on the poll #s, if you surveyed 1000 people in America right now, roughly 350-400 would approve of the job Joe Biden has done.

Based on what??? He’s a terrible terrible President! That number should be at 10 maybe 15 people out of 1000. And that’s just because of polling miscommunication in which the responder didn’t understand the question.

They should conduct those polls coming out of grocery stores.

Perspective I guess. Presidents should have a type of Hippocratic Oath that starts with "first, do no harm."

Biden beats Trump based simply on those 4 words. IMnotsohumbleO. I know the PF is overflowing with people who disagree with my opinion. That's why we have elections, and that's why Trump has NEVER received a majority. (He actually lost by 4 million more in 2020 than he did in 2016) After the nation experiencing 4 years of Trumpism, Biden beat him by 4 million more votes than did Hillary. Trumpers need to sit back and actually ponder that fact.
(but they find it less painful personally to just claim it is not a fact)

A lot of people in leadership positions should have to live up to the "first do no harm" principle. I suppose the only people I'd exempt are those who build their own privately owned companies - as long as their products don't poison or harm users; if they bring on their own ruin and those of their workers, so be it. The real question is how you measure "do no harm" because the way government and corporations are run, something that benefits one or some almost without exception will harm others. Perfect example: welfare programs; they "help" some and steal from others ... and history shows that the helping part in reality weakens and robs the recipients of incentive and initiative.

You mean if the GOP ran a worthless POS (like romney) who would roll over for the dems, you'd vote for him over biden? In other words if the GOP ran a RINO with no spine, no conservative tendencies, no attempt to strengthen the country or move back to real values (the MAGA boogieman), etc, then in reality they just be running another dem but with an R behind the name.

Not that anyone cares, but I'll regale you with a little story of a manager that I used to work for that literally spent $50k over the period of less than half a day to save 2 hours of production, so he could get his bonus for the month. We had a hydraulic power unit that had a cracked pipe and was puking out hydraulic fluid and this wasn't the cheap stuff, this was the $25+/gallon fyrquel expensive stuff. He had a super sucker brought in to clean up the fluid as it leaked and every gallon of the stuff he could find from our bulk suppliers to refill the tank. Once the day ended it was shut down and fix the leak. I really despise people like that. He blew over $50k to get himself (just guessing) a $5k monthly bonus.

To summarize your summary..........it sucked.
I had to actually go back and read the link, which I was obviously trying to avoid.
Here are a few things that failed to make your summary........(which was horribly slanted)

- Stopped a 30-year streak of federal inaction on gun violence by signing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act that created enhanced background checks, closed the “boyfriend” loophole and provided funds for youth mental health.

- Ended the longest war in American history by pulling the troops out of Afghanistan.

_ Capped prescription drug prices at $2,000 per year for seniors on Medicare through the Inflation Reduction Act.

- Achieved historically low unemployment rates after the pandemic caused them to skyrocket.

- Imposed a 15% minimum corporate tax on some of the largest corporations in the country, ensuring that they pay their fair share, as part of the historic Inflation Reduction Act.

- Recommitted America to the global fight against climate change by rejoining the Paris Agreement.

- Strengthened the NATO alliance in support of Ukraine after the Russian invasion by endorsing the inclusion of world military powers Sweden and Finland.

- Gave Medicare the power to negotiate prescription drug prices through the Inflation Reduction Act while also reducing government health spending.

- Authorized the assassination of the Al Qaeda terrorist Ayman al-Zawahiri, who became head of the organization after the death of Osama bin Laden.

- Reduced healthcare premiums under the Affordable Care Act by $800 a year as part of the American Rescue Plan.

- Signed the PACT Act to address service members’ exposure to burn pits and other toxins.

- Signed the CHIPS and Science Act to strengthen American manufacturing and innovation.

- Reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act through 2027.

- Halted all federal executions after the previous administration reinstated them after a 17-year freeze.

I see two worthy items on the list. Trying to rebuild our electronics industry which dims will screw up - probably with overpriced union labor, and leaving Afghanistan which they did royally screw up. As I recall, Trump attempted to end Afghanistan, and the swamp nixed the order (dragged its feet to be kind) - probably didn't help that dems were trying to crucify/impeach him for the 23rd time and distracting him from the process. The Medicare prescription issue and failure to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices (like any medical insuror does) has been an issue through multiple congresses - like back to when your buddy joe was in congress. Can't give them credit for finally fixing something they kept broken for decades. The rest (either the act or how it was accomplished) fall in the category fables or delusions and "you've got to be kidding" or "WTH are you on".

The FBI has seen the diary. Right?

We'd probably have to get access to FBI emails to know if the FBI has "seen" or seen the diary. If they did any analysis, it appears to have been swept deep ... like Jimmy Hoffa will rise to the surface first.

I absolutely believe that. Coming from the nuclear power industry, I've heard all about somebody(s) being worth every penny of their overpriced salary/contract if somebody else saves even one day getting a plant back online. No doubt you, too, know all about the punish the innocent and reward the guilty phases of project management.

I just said I would if it was against Trump or Disantes.
If it was against a moderate anti-Trumper (Romney, Cheyney...etc.), I would not vote for Biden.

I would love to see a race between one of those two, and a moderate democrat of the republican's choosing.

If if’s and buts were candy and nuts.

Biden becomes the nominee and he will have your vote.

We called it praise and honors for the non-participants when a project went as planned.

You really opened up a bubble of memories of projects I've worked on over the years.
