I’ll go out and say, fan support for SC football is still ahead of WBB. Winning at SC
in WBB is why kids go to SC before the NIL, same for UConn.

right but ut vols support more than those schools. are they any million players on unconn football? lets hope boaster club can get some more players 24 / 25 recuits seasons.

With UConn, its a winning brand and getting Top 10 kids. Bueckers signed with Gatorade, that’s not UConn money before she played. She has other deals but that’s what Top kids playing on teams and the top get.

And running around and announcing every player on the team gets an automatic 25000 NIL doesn't hold any weight with an 18 year old? Got it.

Players are still choosing Duke and there is no collective for the women there and they haven't won anything recently either. I'm sure the money helps, but it isn't the end all, be all for all kids.

uconn has their own mouthpeice espn plus unconn coach gets coach team usa so has south caroline , stanford and pat summit . team usa should be coached by top school should be non power 5 coach. like uconn girl who transfer in and hit those three unconn geno said her coach was good. if usa basketball can not win gold with a smaller college great coach players would follow her or him they then someone else should get gold.

is there not good smaller coaches who could lead team usa to gold? the girl who fire us up from three her coach just retired geno said he was real good coach or something like that. when pat summit, stanford,unconn,south caroline get coach team usa that gives recuits thinking playing for those teams might get me on usa over equel anthor player without that coach picking their own players . case in point parker was one of the best 12 players geno got pick and parker was left off team usa.

Kellie has to be feeling some pressure. The baseball team was last season and will be #1 probably the coming season. We had a solid #5/6 team in football that sat at #1 for a while.

Then we have the Lady Vols, long a storied women's basketball program, that is not performing at those type levels under her tutelage. She's got to drive a stake in the ground and get this where it has to be very soon IMO. I like her but there are no excuses, it's Ws and Ls.

She should be. She is a 20 year veteran as as D1 coach. The expectation is we should be as a program further along than how she inherited it.

Coach Kellie would win many more games if she would abandon her player substitution philosophy. She needs to determine who are the best players by the 5 positions and let them play for 30-35 minutes. Players should only be substituted for the following reason: foul trouble, injury, sickness and so forth. She learned her present substitution philisophy from her mentor, Pat Summitt. Pat made this philisophy work because she was Pat Summitt. Coach Kellie is not Pat Summitt nor does she need to be.

Bottom line is Coach Harper isn’t this generation of girls coach the assistants are getting them on campus but the deal isn’t being sealed by the coach. it’s a disconnect somewhere between coach and recruits and I had a feeling it would be

I don't think there is poster on here who doesn't 'like' Kellie, including Darth, ha. But liking her coaching is another thing. College sports is a business and with the LV's comes high expectations. The old guard is gone now. We have an AD that looks at winning and wants all TN sports teams to be successful at a high level. Under this new AD Kellie's history with LV's will only carry her so far. And I also like Kellie and want her to take this team to the next level but.....................
