Keep in mind that is only because of the past that we have the present and future. History is filled with catastrophes, injustices, wars, and persecution that helped forge incredible civilizations, spark advancements in technology and medicine, and create impossible opportunities that may never have existed.

As a Christian, I am brought to tears by reflection or imagery of the Crucifixion, but would I wish it never happened?

Seriously..you take the traditional AA family from 50 years ago and have that today..this nation would be sooo much better off.

The way I see the past 20 years..everything has moved from personal accountability to systemic blame. For everything no matter race or whatever.

Fact is the War on Poverty has been an abject failure without a moral core and the family structure.

Actually that seems to be the mold that community organizers (including communists) follow. Teach the community they are oppressed, demonize other segment of society - the blame game, and turn the "community" into a selfish mob that seeks only to take. Simply create a sense of victimhood and demand retribution; always the fault of somebody else, and that somebody else needs to pay.

The ironic part is that nobody seems to realize that the Depression was a big equalizer - that so many people who were reasonably well off lost everything. I guess you have to have had parents of the Depression era to understand what it meant to the parents and grandparents. There's no talk of reparations for failed policies that cost so many people so much.

Heck look at 2008 and the ability of people to finance homes that had no business, all government policy.
BTW..I always wondered why Mortgage Insurance did not have some affect.

Republicans are demanding the White House answer why President Biden's personal lawyers were trawling his office and Wilmington home when they found classified documents - even though the files have been there for five years.

Representative Michael Waltz suggested to Fox & Friends First on Wednesday morning that the reason the documents were found in the first place may have been in connection to subpoenas in Hunter Biden investigations.

He also said that the GOP-controlled House committees need to demand records that track top secret information Biden received during his time as vice president.

I think I would blame the ones who listened to him and didn’t actually think for themselves more. With every communicator their is a receiver. If that receiver is weak minded enough to believe everything they are told. It’s on them.
