President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Right on cue, talk about the wealthy paying their fair share on taxes to deflect

You'd think the idiots that vote for the dems would figure it out one day. They always fall for the lie that somebody else is going to pay more taxes and they will remain unaffected. Some of this crap would stop if we put the voting age back to where it should have been, or preferably a few years older. Kids who haven't figured out what it's like to work and pay their way (including taxes) aren't going to make rational decisions at the ballot box.

Harris Faulkner - Biden has not mentioned Dr King and MLK Day once in the first 20 minutes of his speech at the NAN.

Edit - She said he possibly mentioned it in the first few sentences before he went on about himself.

Well, you know biden walked with MLK ... drove the bus to the rallies, too ... or was that the semi where the MLK and the gang all sat in the back.

I support SF's desire to tithe their ethnic-injustice-guilt away.

Since black people have fully adopted the African-American title, I'd suggest a different path for SF. Rather than a cash payment, I'd go with tickets to Africa, so the recipients could figure out if they were really held back by slavery that they themselves, their parents, and grandparents never experienced. Let them decide if they would have had it better in the old country. Education is a precious experience ... and a mind is a terrible thing to waste after all.

It is to the point now life in certain African nations might be better places to live.

All these trillions, yet so much despair, crime and lawlessness.

When are our liberal friends going to demand answers from this administration? Do they just gloss it over?
Seems to involve foreign collusion. tax evasion, corruption, etc. All the stuff they so cared about the past several years.

The best you can expect is a twitter post deflection.

Are you suggesting black people are better off because their ancestors were bought and sold like farm animals?

Absolutely. Descendants of slaves have had the advantage of opportunities including education and work opportunities they would never have had in many parts of Africa. We need to get off the stupidity of believing that a person is who his great-great-...-grandparents were and he/she can never rise above that. Opportunities starting with education are there for the taking; I'm sure as hell not going to accept that someone couldn't or can't take advantage of that because of someone several generations prior. Time for this BS to end.

Well then it's a good thing that whole slavery thing happened right? I mean, it ended up doing so much good for so many people

No one says they can't rise above it. The issue is the system was absolutely against it for many people who are still alive today. Surely you remember the dogs and fire hoses

Since we're going to take an asinine and extreme stance, I welcome you to visit your local black friends and offer them a one-way ticket back to their origins as reparations.

And please share the video online.

When does enough time pass? slavery 150 years ago and fire hoses 60 years ago.
Fact is the AA family used to be strong and takes much of the blame for where they are today IMO.
Trillions and policy thrown at the problem.

That was actually a solution of the Lincoln Republicans that everyone lives to brag about. Gop is the party of Lincoln right?

If we have so little to offer the "disadvantaged" or "disaffected" then why are millions of people trying to cross our southern border? I'm glad slavery ended in the US; times change, but it was an accepted practice virtually worldwide for a long time. Slavery still exists today in some places today. If you apply today's logic, beliefs, rules of civility, etc to the past, you are going to get the wrong answer every time. You can bet that 50-100 years from now people will be saying WTH was wrong with those people, and today those very same people in question consider themselves to be "enlightened".

In 75 years the Jews have done a great job with their homeland. I suspect you take the aggrieved black today and set them up their own homeland with resources, they would fail miserably.
And that is not a shot at ethnicity, just LCD seems to be the winning recipe. bad apples spoil the lot. What we are experiencing today in modern US..It aint a them problem, it is a you problem.

I heard some commentary just today..parts of America are now Third World conditions.

So you would just forgive and forget of that was done to you or your parents? How long did it take for those policies from 60yrs ago to get revised?

I remember the 90's being a good decade...Didnt seem to be as much an issue then as it is today with the race baiters. Thinks were progressing nicely IMO..now it has gotten much worse for some reason.
