The WRASSLIN’ Thread

What a terrible decision by McMahon.
He'd make tons of money with the sale of his stock as the PIF takes the company private. He's looking to cash out and doesn't really care what happens after.

AEW just got the keys to the kingdom if this is true. Stephanie and H should strike out on their own. New Japan should invest heavily in the US as well. Their would be a vacuum to fill if WWE falls off, and I think they might.

I agree with all of that. Sounds like a ton of talent and employees are going to walk out when the sale is final.

You don't think AEW would suck it all up? Do kids not like AEW?

I've been to a few AEW shows live and it's always been more of an adult crowd. Mostly those of us who grew up during the Monday Night Wars and the era before that.

I feel like if WWE were to fold or become a shell of itself, it seems like AEW would change in that regard. Being niche is what they do because they aren't the big boy. They'd go for a wider audience.

I only watch maybe 10 hours of wrestling a year, but it's always AEW. I don't want it to change. Also, my son is 2 and I know he's going to be into the WWE scene in a couple years. I hope it's intact for him.

Okay. I don't like the finish of Mox and Hangman. It seemed too "low-hangimg-fruit" to me. I loved the match. I thought they told a fantastic story.

But now Mox gets a concussion and Hangman is all empathic and now Mox is going to be empathetic to Hangman too and they're going to bond or something? I don't get it.

I think it would have made more sense for Hangman to just walk over to Mox and give him double birds and walk off. You keep the feud alive and you Hangman doesn't look like such a p***y.

I don't know... Maybe that's why I'm watching and they're writing and coming up with the ideas. Hell, maybe they have some other plans. But I just don't know if I care about a Mox/Hangman tag team.
