I'm terrified of cruises. Not because of the open sea.

I just weep at the idea of being stuck on a boat with the same people for that long.

No nude beaches this time? That story still makes me laugh.
I have no desire to ever go on a cruise. Six month deployment aboard a US Navy LPD-8 was enough for me.

Reeves is a class act.

Revis was arguably the best corner in the league for several years. Especially in press man coverage/bump and run. He was very physical and played much like our own Eric Berry, albeit at corner rather than safety.
Elway's last game was the Super Bowl against the Falcons. Reeves was the coach. That would be Reeves' 4th Super Bowl loss as a head coach. The other 3 were with the Broncos where Elway was his QB.

Cornelius Bennett also played in that Super Bowl for the Falcons. That was his 5th Super Bowl loss as a player. At the time a record for a player. It was eventually tied by his former Bills teammate Glenn Parker. Parker lost one with the Giants in either 2000 or 2001.

Celebrity

Haven't tried that one; let us know how you like it. The biggest problem I've found in rating cruises is the ongoing decrease in quality and what cruise lines offer. I tend to always think of Royal Caribbean as the best simply because they were more about quality years ago on our first cruise - basically everything except shore excursions was included - that meant drinks and better food. A later cruise on RC was pretty much the same as the rest -disappointing when you compared it to earlier times. Ships are fancier and bigger, but bigger isn't better.

Problem is that it's way too damned easy to become a licensed driver in the US.

Know why the Germans have the autobahn? Getting a license takes months and costs actual money.
Germany had the Bahn for one reason, so Hitler could move everything throughout the country faster.
Anyone (non citizen) with a license can drive in Germany, but after 6 months they must pay for one ( it’s high AF).

You would be surprised at how few interactions you have with the same people over the length of a cruise other than the crew. Provided, ours was only a four day cruise, but I only recall seeing one memorable person once (she was a Karen). 3,000 people on our ship. I saw a few that we had run into, but didn't really interact.

If you go on the bigger ships, I'd say it's even better odds of not running into the same people all the time.

Can't imagine spending 9 days with you plebeians. Wife said "you know you'll have to pack long pants don't you".

Well, aren't you just sticking out a pinky finger sipping on your PBR...

Celebrity looks pretty posh actually. I watched a YT video of one of their newest ships not long ago. Looked nice, though not the floating amusement park like NCL, Carnival and RC are. Probably way more relaxing too.
