Heups super hero skill all year was keeping the team focused. We weren’t that good that we could go against any team cocky.

Going into South Carolina game I believe some of our guys started to believe their press. Win the easy game and they’re in the playoffs. Then they got punched in the mouth and didn’t answer.

But they answered the next week. Answered impressively.

Two to Three years from now we will look at those two games as to when our program grew up. They learned that day that we’re not sleepwalking to any wins. Got to focus. That loss will make us better long term.
I think you’re right. Probably not a conversation for this late, but well. Maybe success happened too soon. We enjoyed it as fans watching, but those young men hadn’t. I’m sure they heard how long it’s been since we’ve experienced that as a program. That’s a lot for them to process.

Youre joking right?
Look at the committee. What interest do they have accross the board? What's the conspiracy theory?

Unless you're suggesting they are paid off as private individuals, professors, and various ADs by...Bama? Or a particular school? I mean, it could potentially happen like in any human vote, but quite a leap ofc.

Exactly how I see it. I didn’t freak after the loss, I told my friends, let’s see how they respond. That’s was a championship response against Vandy,

I look at teams and programs much like I do my teams in my work life. Where I work now, we’ve gone from the outhouse to the penthouse in 3 years. Three rough years but it’s been rewarding. But every now and then, when we drop our guard, our team will pull a rookie mistake setting us back a bit. I shake my head and remember that the job is never done and you keep grinding toward perfection.

Hell of a year, but we still have some growing to do. Success comes from experience. Experience comes from failure.

I honestly don't think they win. I think Kansas State is a better team.
Agreed, though TCU hasn't been the better team in about 40% of their games but still won out.

It's about time their luck ran out, but it may not.

I said about 4 weeks ago there was only a .6% chance 2 other teams would win out among TCU, USC, LSU, Oregon, or UCLA. It didn't happen, as only TCU is left standing. Their own odds were actually the lowest, iirc something like 6%. They sure do have alligator blood.

No, I just think the committee has to take in to account brands, matchups, storylines etc..... Bama having Young and Saban is what they are looking for. If they dont have a choice it doesnt matter, but if they can sneak Bama in they will. They check a lot of boxes.

I think this is totally crap by the committee for not having OSU fall more after getting dragged at home. Why did that not count? Why did they get an auto free pass?

It’s a fair point until you look at who’s behind them and then compare the metrics and entire body of work… in which then they’re slotted about where they should be.
