100% agree it’s still a good win, but it’s not quite as good as a 27 point, top-10 SEC road win, so LSU getting blown out effects us a little too. The committees reasoning has been dumb so far, so I’d expect them to use this reasoning. We should have just been ranked ahead of Bama 2 weeks ago.. then none of this matters. But they didn’t, and I just don’t see them changing it now regardless of the SEC championship results.

But Tom Herman is 54-22 for his career and has never had a season with less than 7 wins. FAU will be very good for as long as he's there I think. Not a job big enough for Herman’s ego. I would be surprised if he succeeded long term at his next P5 gig. Players will portal out to get away from him.

The real importance of bowls is the extra practices that allow you to start laying the foundation for next year.
