Tennessee: Nicholaus Iamaleava, QB
2023 ESPN 300 ranking: 32
Iamaleava is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound quarterback from Downey, California, and is ranked as the No. 6 pocket-passer in the country. He is the highest-ranked commit in the class and followed his 2,244-yard, 33-touchdown junior season with 1,986 passing yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior.
Both Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton III are seniors and coach Josh Heupel will need a new quarterback. The staff have sophomores Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler, as well as freshman Tayven Jackson, but none have a significant amount of experience.
Given the lack of depth, Iamaleava should have an opportunity to come in and compete right away.

ESPN doesn't know that Milton is returning? Holy crap!

From the looks of it, ESPN doesn’t know we beat Alabama.

Moar steam! I love this!

This makes me so proud to be a fan of this team.

There’s been a lot of debate on here this week, but Hooker has to be at the top of the list. Tony Robinson will always be the O.G. for me. And for Peyton—while I agree with McGill that we had already been great for awhile before he came, Peyton really brought us the big, national attention with media and recruits.

But Hooker is both of those guys in one. I think this year turned our program around. I think Milton will be special next year, but we wouldn’t have made it without Hooker.

i think more egregious than the gator chomp was how he went about picking us over UGA in Athens. there's times when i think Herbie is pretty level headed about TN, and there's a general respect for what this program represents in the CFB world, then there's other times like the last few weeks where i think "WTF dude?"

Herbie is all about ratings and stirring the pot. He chose TN over GA b/c TN fans tweeted and asked him to continue picking against us. That’s the only reason he picked TN as I don’t think he thought we’d win the game.

I respect Herbie for helping Corso over the past few yrs. Corso makes many blunders, but Kirk is quick on his feet and helps Corso get through it.

But I’m still not a Herbstreit fan and I’ve never cared for Chris Fowler. It was an injustice what ESPN did to help hand the Heisman to Woodson over Manning. Ridiculous!

That’s when I learned, at the age of 27, that the media impacts decision making beyond politics.

I’ve watched this many times and will again. He will go down as one of the top VFLs for me and that’s adding into to same list with Reggie (my favorite). I hate how this season ended for him, but I know he’ll be on the sideline leading this team like Reggie would.
