Harrison Jr's best two games...a blow out of Arkansas State where he literally caught a 30 yard TD with 4 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. And despite being up big they (surprise) played their starters well into the 4th and kept passing to pad stats.
Arkansas State is the 93rd rated pass defense in yards allowed
Michigan State is the 86th rated pass defense in yards allowed
Penn State is the 53rd rated pass defense in yards allowed
Those two games make up half his TDs and 27% of his yards for the season. Add in the Toledo a 77-21 blowout where starters kept padding stats into the 4th and Indiana (120th rated pass defense in yards allowed) where it was a 56-14 blowout in which CJ ended the game throwing a TD.
The award should be based on results not assumptions of skillset or talent. Hyatt had better results and against better competition too, while also sitting out the 4th quarter in 6 or 7 games.
