Yes there is/are reasons. 1st one being, he went to a shyttie Washinton team. Second being, they started him from the get go. 3rd being, they gave him nothing in the way of help...no O-line, no even halfway decent recievers...nothing.

It was all put on his shoulders. He failed, but he was failed a whole lot more than he failed.

Shuler was put into a no win situation.
An age old story with crappy programs. Long list of broken QBs drafted by poorly managed teams.

I know what I have heard, but when I was around him he didn't come off like a complete idiot. He spoke well and seemed like a intelligent person to me.

The stories and my experience didn't mesh.
Just stories from a good friend that was a trainer on the team.
He’s obviously not stupid, he’s very successful. Just couldn’t remember the plays. Receivers actually “drew” routes on their hands at times.

I don’t care. Dude was a baller and great for UT.

He will literally be being screwed. Even in prison, they don't like that shyt. Those guys have daughters too.
And many of them will never see them again and know it. Even if they do get out their daughters will have grown up and moved on, their relationship is broken. Enforcing the prison code is the only way they have to honor their daughters.

It sounds really messed up but that is the life they live. And they don't allow molesters and child pornographers to live among them in prison.
