You act as if all we have to worry about is this year. If only that were the case.
But what's the difference (in who picks?). There is a broad consensus we are being picked behind them. So it's difficult to just point to it being bias from a single group.

If only the CFP chose them...or just the human polls, I would agree. But the computers agree too and no poll/computer aggregate seems to disagree.

It is what it is. The USCjr loss was just too brutal to overcome. And if their goal at the end (I'm still confused on this to be honest...) is to power rank the teams, then it's hard to disagree considering we are down HHH. If it's now based on past performance and "deservedness" then we do have an argument, though I always thought they said their job was to place the best teams. Which they seemed to veer from this year when they placed us first...right as we were a 9 pt underdog to UGA. As of this year I'm more confused than ever what their parameters are (put in the best teams or the "most deserving" which imo is a crappy version because it downplays SoS and just benefits teams with poor SoSs). Thank god the 12 team playoff is on the way.

I'm not sure. He had last bowl season, spring, summer, and fall to impress, and we saw how much the staff was dying to get Sampson in
Speed > size.

Bigger backs are a dying breed. Unless you're just a freakish guy like a DH that has it all. But they are extremely rare.

The shorter/quick burst guys are also (surprisingly, based on old school non-data based notions) better in SY and goalline situations. A lot going against traditional RBs that aren't downright freakish.

Win+ = Win percentage x 1.5
OS+ = Offensive scoring, normalized from 0.0-0.5
DS+ = Defensive scoring, normalized from 0.0-0.5
SOS+ = Strength of Schedule, excluding wins/losses caused by the team
OSOS+ = Opponents' Strength of Schedule x 0.5

OSR, DSR, SSR, OSSR are ranks.

I like your poll 😅 (twss)

But Tulane at 10th 😳😳 Maybe we don't want to see them in an NY6. Lose-lose those kinds of teams

Also...all of us are just assuming Clemson will be in the Orange Bowl.

They have to beat UNC still...and Drake Maye needs to have a big game if he wants to make the Heisman awards show.

So if it's UNC in the Orange Bowl would you all want that or the Cotton Bowl?
Whoever has the worst passing game...

So Clemson...

Not even a comparison.

If Hyatt doesn't get it, it is truly highway robbery. Vs the best SoS of his opponents as well.

He better damn win. And HHH better at least be in the top 3...but he really deserves to win. Another case that isn't all that close once SoS is considered. But he got injured...so his ToTaL stAtS woNt bE hIgH enOuGh (and folks still ignore rushing for QBs)

I said all offseason he'd never get a chance to win it because we'd have to go 10-2+ to have a Heisman. I was wrong, we had to go undefeated 😒😒😒

SIAP I'm 20 pages behind.

Listening to Josh and Swain today a caller asked what would happen if LSU beat GA.
If that happened, LSU would go to the Sugar bowl, Bama to Cotton and TN to the Citrus. If OSU did go to the Orange Bowl.

LSU has a shot. . . depending on which LSU team shows up.
