so between the WRs, RBs, TE expected to leave. I think we should have 5 spots open as of now. Not to mention the guys that leave early for the NFL or other transfers from other positions. I'd imagine we will have 10-12 spots to fill. Let's get active in that portal!

Whatever carries are needed AFTER Small, Wright and Sampson, Keith should amply provide. He’s something we didn’t have this season.
Hopefully. JWT was supposed to be that this season, then wasn't. Adding a difference maker at RB would be the best we could hope for, but at the very least, we need a solid back in case of injuries.

Good coaches win there. They simply haven't hired many of those recently. Jury's out on Mel Tucker.
It would appear Mel Tucker doesn't have control of his team and that can't be a good look unless you're winning----and he's not winning right now.

What happened with Ohio State and the Rose Bowl?

Assuming UGA, Michigan, TCU, USC make the playoffs...

Rose Bowl is supposed to take the highest ranked Big Ten team that is not going to the playoffs (formerly BCS), which would be OSU this year. The Orange Bowl is only obligated to take the highest ranked at-large team, which should be us at 7th after Bama (6th) gets the honors of the Sugar Bowl. However, the Rose Bowl also has in their contract something called the "cluster clause." This means that they can technically take any 1 team for a closely ranked/grouped number of teams from the same conference. Ohio State believes that this would leave an out for the Rose to take Penn State (8th) so that PSU and their fans could go to the exciting Rose Bowl, and OSU (who was just at the Rose last year) can go enjoy sunny Florida for a change of scenery.

Bama bumps us from the Sugar to the Orange, Ohio State bumps us from the Orange to the Cotton. Where the CFB media and blowhards will continue to get themselves excited at the prospect of us getting upset by a lesser team, so everyone will think it's good matchups/TV for everyone.
