Those two are pretty interchangeable for me honestly, Clausen making the SEC title game was the difference mostly.

Listen we have watched the Vols more than anyone else...no one and I mean NO ONE in this thread will say the Vols are as good or better with Milton starting instead of Hooker. So if that's the angle then I would at least agree with it, even if I still don't like it.

Milton is the QB now and if our fans don't get behind him, they can be considered band wagon fans. It is what it is and nothing is gonna change that right now. Support the team and let the chips fall where they may next year.

The BCS wasn't even all computer based. Part of the formula was the polls. Additionally, the formula was tweaked several times...by humans because humans thought it needed to be tweaked.

There will always be a human element in the final teams, so that's why 8/12 is better. There will be complaints, but at least it will be with 2/3 loss teams.

He also had some pretty talented teams around him. Not saying he wasn’t a reason we made it, but their was so much talent squandered during his reign as qb1.

Not near as much as 99. Still pissed at Tee about that.

Of course I came into my Vol fandom when Peyton started playing...so some of the greats that predate me I left off just because I didn't get to experience/watch them.

Tony Robinson will always be my all time favorite vol.. We have been blessed with some great Vols.

UT tends to stick with that "go along to get along" philosophy. Personally, I'd like to see UT speak up more. It's possible to be forthright about being slighted without being a jerk about it. UT gets criticized no matter what, so why not make the point? They are lobbying a bit for Hooker, who basically has been dropped from anything Heisman, and that's great to see.
