Not going to speak as to his character, but he's a pretty darn good coach. He won in his 2 years at Lambuth, which is no longer in existence. They were 3-8 the year before and 4-6 the year after. He went 12-1 in 1 of his two years there.

At Liberty, he beat Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, and a ranked Coastal Carolina. He also played tight games against NC State, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, BYU, and VTech again. He can coach. Now, can he do it at Auburn in the uber competitive SEC again? We will find out.

I believe he'll have an easier time winning at Auburn than he did at Ole Piss

CFP rankings incoming. Just a reminder:

1. Tennessee and Alabama has 2 common opponents, LSU and Vandy. We are 2-0 against them, 83 point differential. Bama is 1-1 against them, 51 pt differential

2. If you combine SEC East and West, UGA is #1, we are #2, LSU is #3 and Bama is #4 in the entire conference. No way they are #4 in the country either

3. Between UT, LSU, Bama, we are 2-0, LSU is 1-1 and Bama is 0-2

4. Our best wins are Top 10 teams 10-2 Bama and 9-3 LSU with a 30-point differential. Bama’s best wins were close ones, Top 15-25 teams 8-4 Texas / 8-4 Ole Miss, winning by only 5 points combined

That’s probably not a bad idea. You need an entire department to recruit current players, scout transfers, recruit high schoolers, and coordinate NIL response.
