Crazy how the past couple of years our young running backs have crazy games against Vandy.
Also, something I’ve been thinking about this past week is if Banks plays at SC then Hooker wouldn’t have torn his ACL
How do you figure that? Hendons injury is 100% due to a sh^tty field that gave way when he made his cut.

So its who it is kicked to then. Because it seems like strikers are always ahead of the ball. Still seems arbitrary to me.

You can be in an offside position any time, it's only a penalty when you're essentially involved with or making a play on a passed ball.

So usually you'll see forwards often kind of take runs behind the defenders and deliberately advancing into an offside position. It's almost like a cut to the rim in basketball to try and suck in the defense, difference is in basketball the cutter can catch and shoot and in soccer they can't.

However if a forward makes a hard run to goal and the defender rushes back to get between them and the goal but the forward stops early they can then receive the pass and take a shot on goal. Overall soccer isn't so much about scoring as it is about positioning and possession. The size of the pitch and the amount of players limits scoring a lot because if you play or watch indoor soccer the scores are typically a lot higher.

A great example of how to look at Football vs Soccer, we lost 27 to 13 to GA if that had been a soccer score it would have been 4 to 2.

Still thinking about who the big12 QB was that apparently reached out to us the other day.

Only one I see in the portal is Deacon Hill.

OK, two disparate thoughts:

1) Stephen A. making case for Alabama to be in playoffs is ridiculous. That guy is a joke.

2) Go U.S.A. Beat the breaks off Iran.
Bama's best win is freakin' Mississippi State. Only 3 FBS teams they beat had winning records this year. Of those three, they squeaked out a win to Ole Miss and would have lost to Texas but for the officiating. Mississippi State was the only one of the three teams they dominated. How the hell do these talking heads not look at the facts? It baffles me. But they are all riding Saban's junk, fellating his ego. Bama should not be in the conversation, and it's embarrassing that these pundits are trying to make them such.

I think we protected Milton tonight. I don't think this game was an accurate reflection of the offense under him. With Hooker and Jackson both out, we limited play-calling to minimize the potential of injury. Heupel doesn't want to go to a bowl game with Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler as his QBs.
If that's true, why does he keep repeating "next man up mentality". Can't have it both ways

Maybe him?

Hudson Card, who lost the Longhorns' quarterback competition to Quinn Ewers but filled in when Ewers was hurt, is going to enter the portal. Card threw for 928 yards with six touchdowns this season for Texas, which went 8-4.
Card, who was ranked No. 40 overall and was the second-best dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 ESPN 300, has 1,523 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions during his career.

I forgot about Card. I was just thinking about who it could be, I've been curious. Either way I don't think we have to worry about it, don't see us taking a QB.
