1. No way we should have many kids hitting the portal unless they don't think they will ever see the field... so much playing time up for grabs next year...

2. When we getting that Charlotte WR?

3. Hyatt needs to stay another year... Yes he's done incredible this season, but he still needs another year to physically mature for the NFL... this kid goes early and he is an injury waiting to happen.
Nil is a game changer for kids considering the portal. It's not just about playing time. Some of these guys had a 'contract' year and they want to see what the market will really bare.

Just because you forgive a thief doesn't mean you give him the keys to the store safe.

I'm not God, I can't read a man's heart. Once you abuse a position of trust like that it has consequences. It doesn't have to take forever to prove yourself, but it does take time to regain people's trust, and anybody that has done what he has done should embrace that fact.

Oh I agree with you. I just think it’s been enough time. Maybe I’ve missed something but I don’t think there have been any credible allegations against him since his Ole Miss days. Maybe I will phrase my point this way - he’s earned my trust and the trust of the folks at Auburn, apparently. So, we will see what he does with that trust. I hope his repentance is genuine.

No they don't think he has repented they are just willing to sell their soul to the devil to win.

It’s a lot easier to physically mature as a multimillionaire.

Hyatt is making bank now at UT, certainly not as much. He needs to go NFL though. His draft stock is going to be as high as it will ever be. Could even go higher with solid workouts and NFL pro day.

His frame is not going to fill out much more. He only needs to work on his hand fighting at the LOS and getting off bump and run coverage and getting stronger overall.

His numbers would take a hit next year with Milton.

I can't remember where I saw it, but Corso or Fowler said that the commercial was inspired by an actual experience that one of them or the crew had while in town for a gam
anyway, the fans throwing things at the gameday set, Peyton getting snubbed, and that commercial really sent the "ESPN Hates Us" thing into overdrive.

It was really all about Peyton and then the trailer trash thing. Saw Corso once and mentioned Peyton and Heisman stuff and he was very dismissive about it. Not a jerk but close. Screw ESPN. The commercial was funny but wasn’t to many coming off the trailer trash comment.

I've been thinking about this.

I don't know USC's overall talent situation, but in relation to many of the other candidates, what Hooker did here in year two, with the Jeremy Pruitt leftovers and some transfers, coming in to the season unranked....

To throw a game winner against Pitt in ot on the road, completely man handle Florida, understanding the context of that game for this program and what it meant to win that game...

then to go to LSU and dominate there, come home and out duel Bryce young and beat Alabama for the first time in 15 years... Throttle UK and Missouri.

Get Tennessee to #1.

And as for Heisman moments... Take your pick...99 yard drive against Florida to end the half. The 40 yard run in that game...I mean c'mon.

Throws a game winning td against Pitt in overtime.

5 TD's against Bama. Oh, and led a game winning drive in 13 seconds... No big deal.

And he's just an all around decent human being that represents his university and what college football is supposed to be about as well or better than anyone else.

And not to mention the story of how he winds up at Tennessee, much less leading us to a historic season, in the first place.

Does he deserve a trip to NYC? Of course.

But here's another truth that won't get told... He STILL deserves to win the stupid thing.

Tl;Dr version... Hooker for Heisman, tell your friends.😁

It's time. Put in yer waaaaayyy too early 2023 prediction. I say we go 9-3 and keep the steam going.

UVA + 3 OOC scrubs - 4 wins

Vandy/Mizzou - 2 wins

At Bama...UGA - 2 losses

Win 3/4 vs TAMU, UF, USCjr, UK.

Let's go Joe!

2024 and on will be riproaring fun. Lots of playoff games 👀 👀 👀
I think unless we get some good/great DBs in the portal plus another couple of good/great players (LB, OL maybe) we will drop back to 8-4 or 9-3. Also depends on who else stays.
