And that’s probably not the plan, but developing the very talented DL and getting a stud LB will make the guys currently on the roster look a lot better.

The QB won’t have as much time to throw and won’t have the escape valve in scrambling around.

While I understand your point, our potential scholarship TE's in the spring right now consist of Campbell and ACL recovering Freshman Davis. We literally have no one to play the position.

We have a lot of them coming in this class (2023) and next class (2024). We could but I guess would be a want. We also like Walker, Turrentine, Jourdan Thomas, Christian Harrison (and Slaughter wherever he goes).

Last 2 times we went to Atlanta we started multiple freshman DBs. Offenses were less complicated then but if they’re better then let them play.

Right now, yes. But even then, Calloway is likely transferring and we didn't play Holiday on offense leaving us with just Squirrel as a true slot option on the team that the coaches trust. We need depth there at the least

Got lucky with Hendon being coached up a level with Heupel.
Jackson is a bit of project.
Milton is a lost cause at QB.

When Nico arrives we'll have one "good" QB, that will need to be protected by our run game and defense in his first year.
Need a portal guy that can be a starter and we need another high level kid for 2024 HS.
