Something that is happening in and around Nashville in the past few years are people moving here from California. We have a neighbor across the street that moved here last year from Palm Springs.....the one thing I told them is "Don't try and change anything, we don't need any of your ideas." They agreed and said that is why they moved here, to many new ideas back there.

We have recent move-ins from LA next door. The wife is a native of Cali and the husband has been all over as a retired Army Ranger/LEO with the LAPD. They are thrilled to be here and doing everything they can to learn and adapt to us. They are fitting in great.

Beating Saban's Alabama squad is huge for coaching perception, and I think Freeze's wins against Bama lead to an overestimation of his actual skill. He had a chance at Liberty to show he can win without high level talent, and I'm not sure he did that (fine in conference, but not really slaying giants). Even if Freeze can keep his conduct clean, I expect Auburn to be in this general position again in 3-4 seasons. I think recruits have caught on to his televangelist schtick and the obvious hypocrisy he presents. Now that all the big boys can throw NIL money around, his best tools are now public domain.
Auburn's donors should go ahead and pay off all the Alabama escorts ahead of time lol

Show up at their house mob style

"We aren't taking any 2am phone calls from Hugh Freeze now are we miss?

"No sir"

"Here take this and go buy yourself some cotton candy"

He had a big advantage at Liberty too….. they were pumping a lot of money into their programs as well

He would have started the qb performing worse in practice? Freeze is a good coach but his legend is a little too much sometimes…his best season at ole miss when he beat Alabama…. He lost to unranked Memphis and unranked Arkansas.

Freeze is a Heup wannabe. Good with flaws. As long as he gives UA, LSU and UGA fits, don't care.

There has to be a better way. I would imagine the ones that criticized the computer poll are the ones that got left out. Picking which teams schedule is toughest, who beats who at what time during the year and what players were able to play on any particular day is impossible. We have watched this for years and it's a joke. I can make it even easier. Take the Champion for all 10 Conferences (or however many there are now) that way nobody can bit#h then take the six best teams using the SUPER Computer and let them all play it out in a true playoff. You would have to do away with playing "The Weeping Sister of St. Mary's" every year but the loss of those games would be made up in a playoff format for those that qualify. Everybody else could play in the "Bob's Tire Center Bowl" in Podunk to get rewarded for almost being good enough.
But isn't that the way it always is? Isn't that why we're criticizing it now, because we think we're going to be left out?

We criticize refs and a change because we don't get the calls.

We criticize SEC HQ and want it moved because we think they play favorites.

It's human nature.

With their move to the Big12 coming up. He could go make close to that to go 10-2 in Cincinnati. I just wonder if his sudden social media jabs at Kentucky basketball aren't a sign of some friction.
Could be. I’m sure he’s not all that happy there. But I also wonder how high his stock is these days.
