He looked tired at times this year. It's gotta be coming.

Inherited a 2-9 Bowling Green team and then goes 17-6 in his 2 seasons before leaving for Utah.
Inherited a 5-6 Utah team and then goes 22-2 in his 2 seasons there before leaving for Florida.
Inherited a 7-5 Zook squad and then goes 65-15 in his 6 years there winning 2 BCS Championships.
Inherited a 6-7 Ohio State team and then goes 83-9 in his 7 years there winning 1 CFP Championship.

Urban Meyer is a total POS, but you're not 187-32 in your 17 years as a college coach for 4 different programs if you only win with superior talent and taking over for a program in Ohio where he's a known name already with a program that Fickell has built up already would basically be inheriting superior talent for the American conference.

Also Cincinnati going to a Big 12 without Texas or OU will still have the potential to be a superior talent team.
Yeah…. People talk out of their azz too much lol

That’s ok. In my later years, I’ve become sensitive to it. There are so many good people in this fanbase, and I hate to see them constantly trashed by the usual suspects in the media.
The good is rarely known about…. I’m from Tennessee and long time season ticket holder and I can’t think of any. LOL

No, this isn't acceptable. This place loves playing the victim to the big bad ESPN monster and the national media that wants to do everything they can to keep us down.
Yep….. a lot of people on this site…. Talk about hating the victim mentality but they sure do have it when it comes to Tennessee football.

One thing is certain. . . I would definitely want my 10yr old kids, if I had any, looking up to and embracing the unsportsmanlike behavior of an athlete and public figure who writes offensive language on their body in public view.<-- blue

I don't care if people cuss or write cuss words on their bodies or draw genitals on their foreheads and walk around in public. Doing so opens them up to criticism and alienates a portion of the fan base. Heisman winners should be held to the highest standards when it comes to sportsmanship and their impact on the youth and people in general in the community.

I just asked this in another thread thinking I was here so I'll ask again.

Taylor Zarzour just strongly hinted at a SEC coaching change no one is currently talking about.

Anyone got any guesses?
TAMU (I don't think anyone is seriously talking about a change)

Or Mizzou

I can't remember where I saw it, but Corso or Fowler said that the commercial was inspired by an actual experience that one of them or the crew had while in town for a game.

anyway, the fans throwing things at the gameday set, Peyton getting snubbed, and that commercial really sent the "ESPN Hates Us" thing into overdrive.

Yeah all that superior talent he had at BG and Utah.

And I think Urban is a tool.
That was 20 years ago. Urban Meyer did great with Alex Smith who is now a 40 year old man.

People don't want that Urban. They want the Florida and OSU Urban. Urban doesn't want to be the Utah Urban anymore. He's too comfortable.

You are being ridiculous. If it motivated him to win the game, who cares? Unclasp the pearls next time you throw out a xxxxx on here.
You can admit we value the wrong things as a society without “clutching pearls.” I’m not even particularly religious, but can admit we value the wrong things in America.

Honestly Peyton Manning being robbed for the Heisman is my only complaint with the sports media/powers that be.

It wasn't just that he was robbed it was WHO they pushed out there. It should have really been eye opening not just to TN but also the entire country "we'll give it to whoever we damn well please, and you can't do anything about it"

Randy Moss = deserved it, wouldn't have really argued
Ryan Leaf = less completions and more yards on a team that was undefeated and playing for a championship in bowl game, deserved it and wouldn't have really argued
Ricky Williams = if Texas hadn't been 4-7 that year he had the stats to deserve it

But they decided to give it to "the best player" on "the best defense" even though nothing he did that year was remarkable or deserving.

You take the other 3 players and Peyton and put them on any team and those numbers would hold up and likely still end up in the Heisman voting. Charles Woodson being at Michigan and in the Big 10 is the only reason he was there and ended up winning it.

This just makes me think Williams will definitely win over Hooker. Degenerate culture sells, christianity does not. The “**** NDxx” will get eyeballs and clicks, Bible verses get yawns.

Do I agree with that, or like it? No. It’s a serious problem in our society, but it isn’t new.

Yeah everyone involved in football just hated that degenerate Tim Tebow

I think the commercial is pretty funny personally
the most Fulmer reply ever

Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer had a tape of the commercial on his desk Monday, but said he had yet to see it.

``I’ve got a football game to get ready for, but I’ve heard it’s in poor taste,″ he said.

Had enough. Football games are played on the field. Talking heads saying"LSU and Alabama are clearly better than UT"? Kiss my a$$. Why do we put players at risk of injury when all that needs to happen is get a bunch of ESPN clowns, media hacks and internet fools who have never played or coached a single game to decide who the best teams are. Head to head doesn't matter? On what planet? Our over opinionated prissy-sissy culture has taken over everything. Makes me wanna puke.

Baker Mayfield
Johnny Manziel
Jameis Winston
Cam Newton

They've never cared about high character guys winning the Heisman.
