Well I teared up because she cried when I told her how beautiful she was. I was wrong about not crying. May as well have bawled my eyes out.Your wife? Not you??
When my sister got married, she turned to my dad right before he walked her down the aisle and said, "I love you, daddy". He bawled the entire way down the aisle.
I pointed it out. I did so in response to other posts talking about the criticism of the defense and Banks and Martinez, singling out the SC game and implying that one game was how they played all year.I was definitely critical of the defense. Don't think I was the only one. Not sure why this was pointed out but I have no problem giving credit where its due.
At least it's not us this time. Not a fan of BP, but I hope he and the entire Twitter world make life miserable for Wolken. He's one of the worst.View attachment 518843
Coaches and Twitter... I'm for it lol
We've had and used computer rankings. They were criticized probably more than the human ones. I guess that's why we don't use them anymore.Polls are useless, invented by sports writers to make themselves feel important. Coaches polls are there so someone in the athletic department can boost their school or conference. We have put men on the moon and can't come up with some kind of non-bias computer program that can tell us who the best teams are. They should get in touch with some students in computer class somewhere and I can assure you they could do just that and then take the best 12 let their playoff games be the major Bowls and move forward.........sounds to simple....because it is.
Ok after no one answered, I looked it up myself. Here are the major computer ranking after this week. Just for discussion purposes.

There has to be a better way. I would imagine the ones that criticized the computer poll are the ones that got left out. Picking which teams schedule is toughest, who beats who at what time during the year and what players were able to play on any particular day is impossible. We have watched this for years and it's a joke. I can make it even easier. Take the Champion for all 10 Conferences (or however many there are now) that way nobody can bit#h then take the six best teams using the SUPER Computer and let them all play it out in a true playoff. You would have to do away with playing "The Weeping Sister of St. Mary's" every year but the loss of those games would be made up in a playoff format for those that qualify. Everybody else could play in the "Bob's Tire Center Bowl" in Podunk to get rewarded for almost being good enough. We've had and used computer rankings. They were criticized probably more than the human ones. I guess that's why we don't use them anymore.
I acknowledged and praised the shut out.I pointed it out. I did so in response to other posts talking about the criticism of the defense and Banks and Martinez, singling out the SC game and implying that one game was how they played all year.
My response implied that those who were so critical after the SC didn't, but should have, also acknowledge the performance after Andy. SAS was pointing out to me that one poster had done so. So props.
Wait a minute, I thought they had the next Will Levis already on the roster in Ty Simpson?AP liked these two posts.
Then had the following response to a post:
Drake Maye is a Carolina guy. Whole family went to Carolina. His older brother won a natty on their basketball team. He’s gonna be a top 2 pick when he comes out. He ain’t leaving.

Still falls on Banks. He's the leader of the defense. It's on him to make sure they execute properly.
You know looking back at what CJH said last year, I think it was, that the defense just needs to stop the splash plays and stop long sustained drives. I think they "may" have a plan and knew that the defense was way behind so they were hoping the offense would off-set that until they got more help on the defensive side of the ball. At least that would make me feel better.....well not really . It would be fun to have set in on the coaches meetings and find out what their plans are now and what they were before the season started and how close or far away they think we are.Probably a little of both. . . maybe more poor execution than anything. It was plain to see the guys were out of position a lot.
This is what many fail to realize. As fast as we score teams are going to pass on us and we are going to play lots of players. Defense will be on the field a lot. If we average 45 plus, but only give up 25, we are going to win a bunch of games. As we build depth on defense and get better players, we will start winning championships.
