WHAT IN TARNATION HAPPENED ON THE NIGHT OF NOVEMBER 19?!

I've asked myself this 100 times. I don't get it. I hope the players who return next year use it as motivation! That's the only thing that helps me

Well, I made it to the Candy game and you know, bringing a poncho to a rain game would have been a good idea. Also, I had no idea the stadium was so small. Hell, the men's room line went on forever. On the plus side, I've never been so close to the field.

Glad I got to a game for this magical season.

On one hand, I'm eagerly anticipating the transfer portal. On the other, I'm extremely nervous about the transfer portal. We struggled with it last season. In the end, we made a couple of good pickups, but we failed to land our top targets. Hoping that changes this year.

Optics. Perception should be much better this go around. Proof is in the pudding with a tremendous leap in year 2.

Jalen Smith has been better if we are being honest. He’s been one of the best high school players in the country this fall.

But yes Carter would be an awesome pickup no doubt.

That's good to hear. In order for CJH to build this roster to a championship level, we're going to need at least 3 good ILBs in this class.

Beasley and Mitchell are coming back so we’re only losing 2 lb’s

That's great news. I must be living under a rock. I've been critical of Beasley in the past, but he's played really well at times this season and seems to be much improved.

We BasketVol until Spring.
Then we BaseVol until Summer.
We over hype spring practice videos and the spring game.
We obsess about transfers and watch them get slow played by the NCAA and only get cleared 45 minutes before the first game.
All the while, we whine and complain about the recruiting services not having our players ranked high enough.

I might have missed something but I think that mostly covers it.

Yeah, but it isn't just another bowl. It's one of the premier bowls. It should have people planning around what it does. Doesn't matter, just silly to have a New Year's 6 bowl @ 11am.

Clincher argument in my opinion..If the SEC had already nixed divisions...we would be headed to the SEC championship game as the #2 team...period.

We are a victim of the strength of the SEC...sooo many teams with high level talent to get through, and we got through that insane parity better than anyone not named Georgia.

We simply ran into one talented good team too many.

We ran into one better team and got ambushed by another. That’s on us.

Well, our passing yards allowed did improve from #130 to #127 after that game. And Vandy is #128. So there's that. Just looking for the bright spot, the reason to believe...

That whole ordeal was truly bizarre.

Down the road, some of the more thoughtful media people are going to reflect on that and think, “Wow. Our profession collectively condoned a grown man striking a young woman, just to carry water for an angry old coach. How did that happen?”

Polls are useless, invented by sports writers to make themselves feel important. Coaches polls are there so someone in the athletic department can boost their school or conference. We have put men on the moon and can't come up with some kind of non-bias computer program that can tell us who the best teams are. They should get in touch with some students in computer class somewhere and I can assure you they could do just that and then take the best 12 let their playoff games be the major Bowls and move forward.........sounds to simple....because it is.

How would you like to know your team was going to the Wasabi Fenway Bowl or the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.......these are real by the way. Kinda makes ya goose bumpy all over don't it. Plus your school will probably lose money attending if the band or anybody else from your school goes.

Bowls have lost a lot of luster as of late with several key players opting out. The team you send or play against usually is not the whole team that played during the season. Have a twelve or sixteen team playoff and see who is the best......using that computer program I mentioned earlier.....simple.
