We beat 6 bowl teams; Alabama beat 4. We beat 4 teams with 7+ wins; Alabama beat 3.

Bammer's 2 losses were on the road against top 10 teams by 3 points and 1 point. Our losses were on the road to the #1 team and an unranked team by considerably more than 4 combined points. We were favored by nearly 20 against USC east so I think that game trumps our head to head for the committee. They don't seem to care who you beat as much as who you lose to. It sucks because I think we win that SC game 9/10 times we just didn't show up

It will be interesting to hear what Ainge has to say next week on the topic of Milton overthrowing receivers. I’m going to at least wait until we watch him in the bowl game because I’m sure the wet ball can make it tough on the release. However, tonight didn’t really help Joe there. I’d have thrown more middle, 15-20 yd throws for Milton. He needs to throw more different passes than Go routes and WR screens.

Well if Michigan would’ve lost their only big game today, they wouldn’t sniff the playoffs. So depends on how easy you’re talking. But with a 12 team playoff there’s definitely a discussion to be had.
