Fwiw I think a 11-1 PAC 12 champ USC woulda been in over UT… we still woulda needed a loss from USC or Tcu even if we didn’t lose last week. Committee cares about those Conference Champ games

Agree, plus Southern Cal is a traditional power, so if they win the PAC 12 next week they will make the playoff.

I just think the people who think we’ll win without a doubt are setting themselves up for disappointment. Vandy is hot, and we’re barely healthy enough to field a team on defense, which was bad enough with starters out there. Our All-Universe QB is done, and the WR’s have to figure out how to catch a Joe Milton 105mph fastball in the rain. It will be a tough game.

I’d be fine extending him. He’s a good guy, kids like him. Let’s ride with him for 10 years and see where we go. We need stability in the worst way.

Heupel probably takes less so he can up staff salary pool. But have to be over 7 million I’d say, push it close to 9 with incentives.

I really want to see West and Pearce get real run in the bowl game. I hope these 15 practices allow them to move up the depth chart in preparation for next year. Both of those kids flash everytime they are on the field.

Also we must work with Joe on his deep ball touch all month long. That's really his only real weakness. I also think we will run Joe alot next year.

I think he has “the touch”, when he lets things flow. He tries to force highlights and loses natural rhythm. Whole career thing. That first drive exemplifies the theory. Playcalling didn’t exactly shake him out of that rut. “Go long MUTHA*****!” Shouldn’t be the base philosophy.

OSU getting beat at home by 20+ is a complete no go. I was thinking if Michigan lost by less than 3 they would be in, but losing by 20+ at home is a non qualifying losss.
