If bama backdoors this playoff and somehow gets in with two losses and some mediocre “style points” against a 5-6 auburn team…my question would be how do you ignore us as a two loss team beating the team who makes the final cut. Wouldn’t make any sense.Because losing to SC as of now isn’t a bad loss.

A 25-point loss is a REALLY bad loss. You guys are acting like we lost a game on a last second field goal. We didn’t. We got our butts handed to us for 4 quarters. Also, it was our second loss, and neither game was in doubt in the 4th quarter.

I think good wins should count for more than “bad” losses. Each week, what is deemed as a good win and a bad loss changes and it’s so subjective it can drive you insane. The problem we are facing is regency bias combined with elitism bias. Since we havnt been good for a long time, it automatically knocks us back a couple spots.

Maybe I’m confused by the OP. Alabama has a much stronger 9-2 season than Tennessee. Two plays from undefeated to top teams on the road… we got our arse beat in two away games, one by a fledgling chicken program.

They also barely won 3 others. Even rece Davis said they could easily have 5 losses and is worse Bama team in years.

Unpopular opinion, I’m actually glad to see his success. If you just give a good coach time he can produce. This culture is so dang disposable we just throw out good coaches in the trash because of whiny fanbases. Meat chicken fans were so over him few years ago.
