So did Tillman not drag UGA with even better corners last year for 200 yards?..pretty sure he did. Versatility is way more important than raw speed.

And it does matter how good you are at WR, equally good DBs are going to slow you down some...they are going to make plays.

What are you talking about? Nearly everyone on here agrees that he's not NFL ready. The whole discussion started because some questioned if he'd enter the draft due to Tillman's injury. I simply stated that IF he got 1st round feedback, then it's a no brainer. It's called a hypothetical dude, and it's not out of the realm of possibly. No one.... not one single poster (including myself) said that Hyatt was a definite 1st rounder, but somehow it sent you on this tangent. It seems that you are the one having the problem with comprehension. First Round feedback also doesn't insure that someone gets drafted in the 1st round, thus my comment about needing a blazing 40 time at the combine. Which I haven't seen anyone in the business dispute that he's a sub 4.4 guy.

Yeah..but it takes a while to get that talent up to speed. We ain't throwing no true soph-true fresh dominated starting lineup out there and playing great in the SEC.

It is one thing to plug a talented young player into a veteran dominated defense, it is another thing entirely for your defense to be full of them...there will be ugliness at times.

But it will get there in time.

Squirrel White has unreal speed. I'm talking fast like maybe 20 or 30 guys are total in Power 5 play. He and Jalin Hyatt are the elite of the elite when it comes to speed. NFL teams are really lucky to have a 3 to 4 guys who can run a sub 4.4. Hardly anyone can run a low 4.3.

I'd love for all of our receivers to be 6'5", 235 lbs Megatron clones running 4.35... but that only happens in video games.

Yes.
A strong Miami, FSU, Auburn, GaTech helps us when they are able to take recruits away from UGA, UF, BAMA.
Of course, we also fight Auburn for recruits and, to a lesser degree, FSU and Miami too.
