On the first drive they called a blitz and Mitchell was supposed to go..so help me he was 7 yards beyond the LOS and when it was snapped he just kind of loped towards Rattler, who easily threw the ball to reciever in the vacated spot before Mitchell even got to the LOS...there is no way he was supposed to be that far beyond the line, and he sure as hell was supposed to be jogging towards Rattler...

As I've been rewatching plays...I think that one and one other just kind of encapsulates everything that happened....bad design, bad teaching and horrid lazy execution.

One other was on a 3rd down play in the first half where stupid Hadden started 11 yards deep and then bailed out and started running deep as soon as the ball was snapped....of course the WR stopped just beyond the first down marker and caught a ridiculously easy pass...and then ran forward for a lot more yards before anybody could even lay a finger on him..

None of our blitzers know how to blitz! It’s maddening! We don’t blitz like our hair is on fire, and then we run right to a blocker and engage the block. It’s so weird. Beasley is about the only one who seems to know how to blitz (and maybe Banks, except he always gets sent on blitzes from the edge).

I’m guessing McCoy had a concussion? We may want it to pour rain, so that they will only want to run. Otherwise, we will get torched in the pass game again. Definitely have to play zone since we will have multiple walk-ons probably out there. Hope the DL can get home all game. Is Charles healthy or is he out too?

I think Bru was either back or his ribs from the treatment he was getting on the sideline.

Lol...Clemson is going to wreck them. Just like AR did after playing us, Rattler will return to his erratic innacurate self and they will get destroyed.

A lot of that was losing Alontae Taylor. He was talented and you can tell we just don't have a CB that can shut a receiver down. The only other decent defensive back Pruitt recruited bounced to OK and he has better stats than our starting safety.

Can’t really count the players who had to leave because of illegal payments. Although he really was the only one who we could have used. I agree with you, but he just couldn’t stay due to damn pruitt and his wife.

Of course, the outcome of them being idiots brought about the best possible scenario for Tennessee football, so I am thankful that pruitt and his wife screwed up so blatantly… strange series of emotions.

No one should get a pass.

But I don’t want to see it’s about the “Jimmy’s and the Joe’s” from anyone then. We should be able to play ball with classes ranked 20th. You guys just argue with fits your opinion. I applaud it too, because I do it daily.

We need better coaching, but we also need better players. Pruitt apparently didn’t hand over McDonald’s bags to DB’s other than Key Lawrence. It is staggering looking at the past 5 classes. Oh, and the next highest DB was Alontae, and guess where he is?

The limited highly rated players that he got with cheating makes it look like he really was here to scuttle Tennessee football as an eff you from bama. Long game payback for Fulmer turning them in. Yes, it’s an aluminum foil insight view, but surely he couldn’t be that inept…

I'm thankful for this year. Even with last week happening it's the most fun I've had watching football in years. And I guess I'm thankful for you morans also
