You do understand that this forum can be used for other topics than football recruiting, right? I mean, if you read this particular thread at all, you should realize that. Also, if you are not interested in a particular post, you can just scroll on by
I realize that all too well.
Seems a little much to have to scroll through half the post in the “recruiting forum Football talk” thread that are not football related.
Not against discussion on anything but an off topic thread for it would be my preference.
I usually end up skipping 20 pages cause I don’t have time to read through all

Couldn’t have been more than one. Threw eight total passes and completed four. Two to three went through receivers hands.
First possession...
• 2nd and 3 from their own 33, not a total airmail, but stretches out S. White across the middle to the point he might have gotten fingertip on the ball above his head. Not really a catchable ball above his outstretched hand.
• 1st and 10 from USCe 22, overthrows Tillman in the endzone.

Second possession...
• 1st and 10 from USCe 11, overthrows Hyatt in the endzone. Holding on TN on the play, so the attempt doesn't appear in his stats.
• Next play, 2nd and 20 from USCe 21, overthrows Tillman.

Hooker has had tons of over throws this year. The Milton hate is ridiculous.
Why the strawman? I never said Hooker hadn't overthrown receivers this year. Hooker wasn't even brought up. I also never said I hate Milton. I'm just refuting the idea that Milton hasn't continued to overthrow receivers by pointing out that it happened more than once in limited time just last week. It doesn't mean I hate him to say that, nor is it some manner of evidence that Hooker is flawless.

Yup and the first overthrow he has against Vandy people are gonna go nuts. “Overthrow Joe”, “can’t hit the broadside of a barn”. I get that Hooker gets or got a pass for how well he has played but Hooker has had plenty of overthrows and all you hear is crickets.
MIlton literally had one overthrow against SC and people already lost confidence in him for next year lol. It is ridiculous like you said.

If it “doesn’t count”, it doesn’t count. If Hooker was only graded for his first eight passes in each game, how great would his stats be?

No one’s claiming MILTON is “flawless” either, but QBs typically play themselves into a game. So shutting down the voting booths after the equivalent of two possessions seems presumptuous. Not speaking for the other poster, I brought up Hooker because he’s had an undisputed excellent season. I recall some airmailed passes early against Ball State. His final tally was 18/25. What if we parsed those 7 incompletions? Milton was 8/9 in that game incidentally.

Once again, it’s shameful he’s being left out of the Heisman conversation due to a bad loss and season-ending injury. There’s only one game left. It’s not like he was injured mid-season. For once, give the award to the BEST PLAYER (no matter the team outcome they play for) who deserves it most. That player is HENDON HOOKER!
