We’re jokingly debating because we know that one day we will be the hosts. We may compromise between 12 and 4 and have it at 2. :)
We had the 1st dinner with family this evening but then saw opportunity to leave because hubby wanted to get home and watch the bball game..second one tomorrow incoming.🦃

I wasn't calling YOU a garbage fan...I meant "you" in general, after seeing you post this I can see that it sounded that way.

I am sorry I didn't make that clear....you are not a garbage fan...however some of these dudes that are spewing unreasonable FF-type vitriol are...and that is a f'n fact.

You know as well as I do that there is line that shouldn't be crossed.
Well, first, thank you for clearing that up. Second, I agree there is a line that can be crossed, but I don't think it was. Another poster was expressing his own hurt. And I can empathize with that. To that effect, I'll share a story I've shared before. In 2016, my dad died. We both were suffering from NASH cirrhosis, and his turned to cancer. Because of his age and other health problems, he didn't qualify for a transplant. Almost a year later, I received my liver transplant. But through all of that, I was knocking at death's door, and quite frankly, I latched on to the Vols as something my dad and I both loved, and I looked to them to raise my spirits. And you know how those years went. So I know what it is to desperately want us to succeed and to wonder if it would happen in my lifetime. Not everyone is blessed to see their team win championships. And some of us would like to see it one more time before we leave this Earth.

I remember when the Cubs won the WS they did a story on elderly fans who never thought they would see it and what it meant to them.

We all express our frustration differently. And for some of us, the sting of that loss was a bit more than we could handle.

FTR, those that say, "Well I have a wife and kids and priorities in my life..." I don't have a wife or kids. I invest a lot of emotion into football. 😁

Sooo, Kirk Herbstreit-----------

The more I've thought about it, F this guy and the horse he rode in on.... First of the season and on up until we lost, he's been singing our praises and bragging on Neyland and the game atmosphere...

THEN, the first time we lose, lay an egg, he goes right for the throat with the Vandy quote about winning, basically giving up on us with a "I knew it or told you so" attitude...

I don't care what comes, I'll never respect or give a flying F what that douche says from here on out... GBO and WHIP VANDY'S ARSE!!
Jerk is very two-faced. Always has been.

I see pretty Holly was doing her thing last night.

Is our next coach going to be Nice Geno?

This season is setting up for a potentially crazy ending. Mich/OSU one will get a loss, USC may get beat by Notre Dame, LSU may lose this week or SECCG, TCU could lose the conference championship. How nuts would it be to have OSU/Georgia then 5 or 6 10-2 teams to choose from. I don't know if 1-loss TCU and Michigan get in over some of the other teams or not without a conference championship.
Imagine them all losing and then losing again the the championship. Bama has a back door in 😂

Wild day on the Ole Miss boards but it looks like they ARE keeping Kiffin. Earlier today it looked dead and they were building their coaching search boards.

Tennessee 34, Vandy 33

Vandy misses an extra point somewhere along the line and Tennessee skims by to victory. Milton gets tons of yards through the air but struggles to complete a high percentage of passes and turns the ball over 2+ times. A beleaguered, injury laden defense continues to struggle but does just enough to save a victory. We all breathe a collective sigh of relief at our first 10 win regular season in over 20 years.
You trying to give me cardiac arrest?
