Do you not agree with that? On offense you can do like we do and spread people so thin that it is hard to stop us…. It can be done on defense but it’s a much harder process.Says you. I guess that’s why everyone is doing it? To go to the #1 offense is east? I’m not asking UT to be #1 in defense. Wow, the zero sum thinking of people is amazing.
I'm not buying this. You've posted pics of vacations all over the place, you don't need Vols in Cotton Bowl to see them live!Okay. Silver lining time. If Tennessee goes to the Cotton Bowl, I will be able to see them play live!
I know that is selfish, but I have not gotten to go to a game since auburn whooped kiffin.
Don’t get me wrong, I really wanted to see Tennessee in that playoffs, but that shipped sailed Saturday sadly it then sank.
I believe that offense and defense Present their own challenges. Again, this isn’t an all or nothing question. The defense doesn’t have to be #1. Currently it’s 100 overall and 1 spot from dead last in past defense. You could start four walk on in the back 4 and do that.Do you not agree with that? Not handling the moment correctly ties right back to coaching.
To be fair, South Carolina did just about everything they could to make it near impossible to respect them prior to Saturday. This has to be the most shocking Tennessee loss of my lifetime, and it’s not particularly close. In fact, this is probably one of the most shocking outcomes in all of college football in my lifetime.
I would argue you can go get 4 or 5 D2 guys and have a better group. Hell even all freshmanI believe that offense and defense Present their own challenges. I actually don’t find it that shocking. I’m in a minority I guess! We’ve had plenty of bad losses in the last 15 years, and if we are honest with ourselves, our team was way outperforming so far this season up to that point.
To get decent training you need to either go to England or pay a **** ton because the supply doesn't meet demand when it comes to good trainers/coaches.I'm not an expert on soccer at all, why is Soccer a rich person's sport here in the US but not in (somewhat) equivalently wealthy countries like in Western Europe?
Our defense has had some bright spots, which makes the performance at SC even more suspect.Last game can’t happen….. when Heup started here… he stated that you should judge the defense on these factors…. Causing negative plays…. Turnovers…. Red zone defense….He doesn’t give a sh&t about total yardage…. Most of the year… the defense has accomplished those goals in every game except Alabama, Georgia(1st half), and South Carolina Due to more plays and trying to keep up…. Teams are attempting 6 plus passes per game more against us on average.
Tillman looked like he was 80% out there, then he wasnt. Unreal what he did, esp after reaggravating the ankle. What do any of those players have to do with Tillman’s performance?
Tillman- 9 catches for 81 yards and 2 TDs. One of them on 4th down when he straight up made the defender look like a child.
