Probably should have ignored it. But it's not like hooker threatened to kill his family, he just said he lit a fire underneath him. For all the things hooker could have responded with, this is probably the most mature answer. Especially since he threw no shade at rattler and even claimed they were dawgs. Once again should have ignored it, but it could have been a lot worse.

My presumption is much like other states, his compensation package is more complicated.

The state likely has restrictions on how much his compensation can come from certain types of sources. Mainly tuition dollars.

But rest of his compensation comes from certain types of endowment or money the AD generates etc.. to exceed those certain limits

You are thinking about the state law that prohibits contracts that extend beyond 4 years. It's not the amount its the time period length.

Ahhh I found it pretty quick. He said it’s state law that he can’t get a contract longer than 4-5 years. I had it backwards. Thought it sounded weird. He thinks Kiffin wants the 10 year for 10 mill per Jimbo type deal and Auburn could give that if they wanted and Ole Miss can’t match it and it’s not their fault because it’s state law.

I misspoke, it's 7.25 mil but the point still stands. The article I read says that only $290k is paid from the university. That may be the work around.

With how easy it is to photoshop ish I'm shocked how many people will buy that Hooker happened to DM the father of a USC Jr backup QB on Sunday the week before we played them acting like he was disrespected over a tweet he probably didn't even see.

The dad is trying to stir up something on social media, not sure why though.

It would be awesome if Vandy could take down the swampers in Nashville Saturday. Doubt it but Gator fans getting so excited over beating A&M who had literally 40 players out due to the Flu not to mention they’re absolutely dog $h!t… then crushing Carolina who wins games almost solely because special teams otherwise very mediocre. Hopefully FSU can take them down at Doak… add in a Vandy upset current spread is -14… then you get a total meltdown

That’s fun for the kids…. Not too awful expensive…. They get to tour the trucks before the show…. You should take your son to a monster truck show… my sons loved it when they were little.
