One rule that needs to be evaluated is the substitution rule while the play clock is running. I know that we substituted late (12-14 seconds left on the play clock) which allowed Mizzou to sub. They were smart in slowly coming on the field, but that has to be addressed. I am not sure why we did it late as I think Sampson came in for Small. I heard Tim Irwin discuss it on Hyams' show, too, and he said it needs to be addressed,

That makes no sense whatsoever. All you have to do is tie your shoe so the other team gets a penalty. Would stopping the play clock when the ref puts his hand on the ball then reastarting when the defense is on the field work?

If he does, then his USC stint will remain his longest stop at any head coaching job. Two years with the Raiders, 1 year here (Effing *******), 3 years and five games at USC (fired on the tarmac, HAHAHA SUCK IT), 3 years at FAU, and 3 years at Ole Miss. I think Auburn would be very stupid to hire him.

going back and watching S. Carolina from the last few games.


My god that defense is bad. Not out of the question we have our best rushing game of the yr and we have had a few really good ones.

On the other side, they have one of the worst OLs you'll see this yr.

Cannot wait to see Sampson against them. Quickest acceleration I have seen out of a Vol RB since Chuck Webb.

Anyone get the reasoning for the intentional grounding call in the 3rd/4th quarter on Hooker? I was at the game, and it pretty clearly looked like Hooker and his WR just weren't on the same page. I got a text from a friend that said Hooker was never under pressure.

Lol and? Doesn’t mean he does not start slow…. Which he does almost every game. Until later in the game he was holding the ball too long again like he did against Georgia.
