And I’d ask you the same question - can you provide examples from this season of Milton throwing everything 100mph? Strikes me that he’s shown dramatic improvement in his “touch” passes this season over that glaring lack of touch the prior year?

Seems to be that many on here struggle to view Milton on this year’s performance as if the real Milton was last year or his time at Michigan and it’s impossible that he may have improved.
Good lord, I’m trying to read about the recruit and y’all are bickering about Milton.. All we know about Milton is what we’ve seen on the field, when he’s been the starter he’s been less then average. As a qb doing mop up duty He’s shown flashes of improving we get it, but let’s hold up before we deem him the heisman for next year.

USC hasn’t beaten anyone in the current Top 25 CFP rankings. They play UCLA next week who just lost to a team with a losing record, so they should plummet in the rankings.

I just don’t see how you put in USC over us if we both finish with 1 loss.
I agree.

Looking at this playoff predictor, if Clemson and USC win out, they both have better odds than we do to make the playoffs. It really is baffling. It's like SOS and resume be damned. Congratulations on your namesake and winning a crappy conference title; here's your ticket.

Huh?

Using the Allstate playoff predictor if we win out we have a 66% chance. If Clemson wins out including the title game it’s only 49% and USC winning out including the title game is only 37%

In fact we have a higher percentage than even LSU if you put them as winning out including the championship game.

First, please don't ever put the word "the" in front of OSU again, even if grammar calls for it. Just on principle.

Second, speaking of grammar, I don't follow:

Did that need to be two sentences?

You're saying that if OSU beats Mich 50-17 they will be left out of the playoff in favor of us and a USC that wins out? I see no way the winner of (an) OSU and Mich game is left out of the playoff.

If the game between Mich- OSU is a lopsided affair the loser is out. If it is close, then the same argument we have about one loss would be considered by the powers that be and in many circles two SEC teams again will not be favored, right or wrong.

Personally it wouldn't bother me if after they play each other neither one has enough players left to field a team but I digress.

I made an error that USC would not get past an OSU-Mich winner. Also remember that I was just guessing like everybody else but I do have inside info.......will not really inside ....or info.....just B.S. on a screen.

Exactly why I will feel more comfortable with TCU losing one and USC and/or Clemson both losing again.

USC will still have to beat UCLA (on the road) beat Notre Dame and then also beat the 2nd best team in the Pac-12 (most likely Oregon). With them having lost to the only top 25 team they faced so far (Utah) I think they'll lose again.

Clemson only really has North Carolina left in their championship game...could get lucky and Beamer ball upsets them or maybe even Miami does it, but unlikely.

Clemson actual chances to make the playoffs, even if they win out, are really, really slim.

The idea that they have a better chance than a one-loss USC is laughable.

Stick to insurance, Allstate.

Clemson will not jump us. And I’m not even sure USC would either but they do want a Pac 12 team in the playoff since one hasn’t been in yet. I think USC drops one and we are in.

One thing we have going for us over a one-loss Big 10 is their loss will be more recent, while we're over here setting program records on offense.

All kidding aside, which I do a lot, if TCU loses and we win out and do it impressively we are in. I think the powers that be would really like to see Mich, UT, OSU, Ga in that order. Made for TV to say the least but things have to fall in place and that is really a long shot but then again.......

going back and watching S. Carolina from the last few games.

My god that defense is bad. Not out of the question we have our best rushing game of the yr and we have had a few really good ones.

On the other side, they have one of the worst OLs you'll see this yr.

Rattler is going to get lured into playing a superman game, which will play right into our plans. Another 30+ point blowout incoming.

Honestly, we should be in now as long as we win out the way we're expected to. Even if TCU remains unbeaten, we should be the 4th in. But it would ease any uncertainty if TCU, USC, and/or Clemson stumble.

Yeah. . . it's not the dislike of Barnes, it's how giddy some are when he has a bad game. They wanna scream, "I was right, I told you so". . . but it doesn't happen often, so when they get the chance, they have to go over the top.

They want to be right so badly that they ignore all facts that prove, without a doubt, they are wrong. That poster is 100% wrong about Barnes and simply can't get past his own ego to realize how wrong he is. Complain like a little brat, but fail to provide a coach that could successfully replace Barnes to their standards.

You'll never hear from them 99% of the year, just whenever the Vols have a bad game or even a bad few minutes during the game.

What they should do is find a coach they like and be a fan of That team. . . That ignore button really does make VolNation a better place.
Yeah, waiting for any Vols team to stumble and then saying “I told you so” is what they live for..Trolls just sit under their bridge on their phone or computer waiting for their opportunity..I can’t imagine living my life like that.🙄🙄
