Maybe Bo Nix needed a fresh start. Hooker wasn’t the guy at VT but moved to the SEC and is great. Why can’t he just be in a good situation and making the most of it?

Hooker stepped up in competition (sec). Bo has shown for 4 years his ability in the sec. Everyone knows the pac 12 is . No wonder usc and ucla are leaving. The pac 12 gets no respect (deservedly so), hence no cfp appearance since ‘17.

Through 10 games, Vols are giving up 21.9 ppg. I’m told constantly SEC is the toughest conference in the country. So keep that in mind.

I’ve seen many want a new DC. So let’s take a look at some popular names/defensive HC:

- Zach Arnett (Miss St DC) giving up 26.1 - 29th
- Barry Odom (Ark) giving up 28.9 (second to last in SEC) - 25th
- Oklahoma defensive masterminds giving up 29.1 - 9th
- Baylor defensive masterminds giving up 25.2 - 41st
- does the ACC even count? Clemson giving up 21.0 ppg - 5th
- Utah - always tough - giving up 20.0 - 33rd
- Oregon giving up 27.4 - 7th
- Mich St defensive masterminds 25.5 - 34th

For those wanting a new DC, who do you want?

For reference, the SEC:

UGA 11.9 - 2nd
Bama 18.9 - 1st
UK 20.0 - 26th
LSU 21.0 - 8th
Vols 21.9 - 19th

I think you also have to take into account the talent on roster, I've added the 247 Team Talent Composite rankings.

At this point Utah would be the best of the punch with Kentucky and then UT close behind. The real question is when we're in the top 10 for talent will we see better results?

I’d like to ask everyone that would to pray for my stepdad, my dad passed when I was 9 months old so he’s been my dad my entire life. They have found a mass on or around his bladder. We are waiting for an appointment in Vanderbilt so they can get a biopsy done. It’s so hard to have any peace in this life anymore. TIA

I’d like to ask everyone that would to pray for my stepdad, my dad passed when I was 9 months old so he’s been my dad my entire life. They have found a mass on or around his bladder. We are waiting for an appointment in Vanderbilt so they can get a biopsy done. It’s so hard to have any peace in this life anymore. TIA

I like Hendon and all and I’m glad he has played well. But we need him to fix his beginning of game woes. His passes lately during the start of games are extremely questionable.

Also, would like to say Milton is going to be a nightmare for Defenses next year…. Especially with our speedy receivers…. Squirrel is going to be a problem….. he will literally be able to just streak deep on almost every play with Milton….. just throw it up there Squirrel will get it.

He’s got Hyatt’s former condition of tripping or slightly stepping out of bounds steps from scoring. Pope will coach that out of him.

I honestly think Squirrel thought he was in the endzone on that catch lol…. I believe he thought he needed to make sure he got down in bounds.

Recruiting was a big reason CJH let the players keep playing. Programs are negative recruiting UT, claiming UT's success is all about Hooker and not sustainable without him. The coaches planned on playing Milton and letting him throw and run the offense with younger players to show that UT has built an elite program with staying power.

Once Milton was in, they were going to let him have his shot. It was the last home game, and the starters were out. These days, coaches have to recruit against the portal, as well as from it.

It's great that he recognized how coaches are recruiting against him and even better he had a plan to address it.

Mostly next season will come down to OL play. Carvin & Wright are both gone. Who we got ready to step into those spots?

I know it's early but I watched Barnes get very animated towards ZZ and Vescovi during timeouts in the first half. The second half play seemed much worse than the first watching it in person.

What passes are you referring to? We scored on our first possession.

I also rewatched every pass against UK, and he was really good.
