Anyone else notice how Dorkiwitz kept coddling Luther Burden every time he came off the field? It was weird, like a boyfriend who knows the relationship is over and keeps asking what he can do to save it. I think Burden is portal bound for sure after the season.

Can't believe Stoops bought into his own hype and stayed. It gets bad from here. I actually think he's a good coach though.

He's a good coach in the same sense Fulmer was a good coach. Difference being talent level available to work with.

That's really meant as a compliment, though I'll concede I can see how it could be viewed as not one.

One thing I will miss when we have a 12-team playoff is how much these regular season games matter.

I think not only will they still matter, but more games will actually matter.

Is TCU one of the best four teams…..I highly doubt it. But, it doesn’t matter if they go 13-0.

And this is why they are expanding the playoffs. So bad teams that manage to barely beat bad teams but be undefeated can get in without knocking out good teams that play a lot of good teams and only lose 1.
