In all do respect……TCUs defense held Texas to 6 first downs.
Not that I believe TCU is close to as good as Tennessee, but if they go undefeated, they’re in the CFP, and deserve to be.
You crazy, go pea come back and tell me your not sleepwalking hehe. Texas don't have receivers and a terrible offense .

Yeah having to play walk ons at CB has nothing to do with it.
We played A WALKON at corner for a series against Bama and against UT Martin. We’re not consistently playing an entire defensive backfield of walkons though. Our secondary has been garbage all season though. If they were just getting constantly burnt in coverage it would be one thing, but they can’t play with the ball in the air to save their lives they take bad angles on defending out routes when they’re within closing distance. Sure they may not be the most talented, but they struggle in other aspects that decent coaching can fix

ACC champion could still be a headache.

Clemson & UNC both still got 1 loss. Was really hoping Louisville or Wake Forest could upset one of them.

We may still be picked ahead of the ACC champs, but always nice for there to be no debate.
I think ACC is out. If Clemson won, they’d have what, 2-3 ranked wins? Then one unranked loss. Even with a championship and the same record as us the resume just doesn’t hold up. Same with UNC.

Volunteers (9-1, 5-1 Southeastern Conference, No. 5 College Football Playoff)

Tennessee bounced back from its first loss of the season to Georgia last week by setting a school record with 724 total offensive yards, eclipsing 718 against Troy in 2012.

Was that a statement to the College Football Playoff Committee?

"The statement is that we're a good football team playing good football," Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said.

No possible way an ACC champ gets in barring a miracle. Ass conference.

I see a really frustrated Lane Kiffin. You think he really wants out. Where would he possibly go?

Tennessee WR Cedric Tillman, who missed several games early in the season with an ankle injury, played in the Vols' last two games. He dressed for warmups Saturday, but after being introduced for Senior Day, changed into street clothes. Heupel said Tillman could have played, injury wasn't an issue, but "the best situation was for him to sit this one out."

He knew we wouldn't need him. He also knew we were going to score alot of points today. I love this guys confidence. His offense works and he knows it.

They have 3 ranked wins, UNC would be their 4th.

UNC has 0 so far, NC State (who lost today) May be ranked when they play.
