I got a firestick for our bedroom TV. It had built-in apps but I couldn't add new ones. I went with the firestick because it was 50% off last fall.Need some tech help on setting up an older Smart TV. My parents have an older smart tv but it was one of those that was bleeding edge when it was bought but now I can't add apps to it. It has 3d and all the ports but it doesn't have the ability to add some of the newer streaming services. I want to set them up so they can have ESPN+/SECN+ for all the UT sports. So my question is.... Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick? What should I get them? I don't need subs - just a method of getting all the apps on their tv so they can watch subs I bought for them.

*we rarely use the firestick
I love Hendon...but..Hooker will have to get it together and show some veteran presence and composure. Georgia and their crowd shook him up so bad mentally it was awful to watch. Like he’s never played a road game before. Hold the ball for 10 seconds, overthrow receivers multiple times. Draw in on Tillman which has been a issue in the past when he’s in there playing. I mean it was just a bad game. There were plays there to be had. Just didn’t hit them.
I have Roku and am happy with it. I've never used the other two so I don't know if they are better or not.Need some tech help on setting up an older Smart TV. Yes. We don't use it much but she was wanting to watch Yellowstone in the bedroom and that's what we use for the Peacock app.Does it have ESPN+ and SECN+? Their tv already has Prime and Netflix so it's really the newer apps that I need to add. ETA: Wait, you mean the Fire adds everything?

Someone else can probably give you more information about the firestick's abilities.
Welp...he shot his wad to win that game...and now we know...Listening to Ainge today, they were speaking on Kirbys press conference. Kirby said they were game planning Tennessee all offseason and spent the last 2 weeks on how to stop Tennessee.
My dad is the same way. They went to antenna only and dad is really missing UT games. I got him a firestick but he won't use it.Cool. Really, I doubt they'd use any of the other stuff since they have never even bothered with most of the features they have . They are both huge fans and if UT is playing in any sport and it's broadcast anywhere, they want to watch it. I've tried to show them stuff like Netflix for years but they have no interest in most of that. It's UT sports for them so that's mainly what I'm looking to setup for them sot that anytime the Vols/LVs are playing they can watch.
You're making it sound much more complicated than it is or would be. Of all the things an official has to "process" during a game, this isn't one.You don't ignore it if the WR is still out of bounds. If the WR is still out of bounds and touches the pass, the play is dead. It's not a penalty. Those are two separate issues, someone who is currently out of bounds vs someone who was out of bounds and came back in.
Any currently out of bounds player who touches a live unpossessed ball kills the play, whether it's a pass or a ball on the ground.
Asking an official to process all this before deciding to kill the play:
Is the player who is out of bounds touching the ball?
Is the ball unpossessed?
Is he the same person who fumbled it?
Did he go out of bounds voluntarily?
That's just not possible lol. And it would be a crazy specific set of rules for an incredibly rare scenario like we saw Saturday. I doubt any of us have ever seen that happen in our lives, but we're going to implement an insane exception to a rule for that once in a decade scenario? It sucks Bama benefited from a technicality, but 99.99999%+ of the time the simple rule of "play is dead if an OOB player touches an unpossessed ball" works perfectly as intended.
Fant has stone hands...and at least one of those sacks was on him..he literally just stood there looking the other way as a UGA player ran right by him....never even looked at him until Hooker got mashed.I really hope Ethan Davis is "that dude" cause our TE room has been disappointing. We have two guys that on paper are "prototype" bodies for the position 6'6" 245lbs and 6'2" 240lbs (former WR outta HS) combined for their 9 years here 80 receptions for 858 yards and 6 TDs
I'd like to have a Brock Bowers like guy under Heupel to see what he does with him.
