Honestly the worst thing that could happen to us did before the Georgia game...and our fanbase, former players, and sports media all fed right into it.

Georgia is packed full of talent and when they play motivated they can (and typically do) beat anyone they face. So right before our trip to Athens what happens? CFP rankings spit in their face, All the media pick them to lose at home, our fans/VFLs start a social media buzz blasting their fans for not showing up or being a hostile environment to play in...

It was without question the toughest place we've played this season, so props to Georgia fans for making that place crazy.
That #1 ranking on the first show is going to help us make the playoffs big time. Gotta take care of business the next 3 weeks though.

I'd love for South Carolina to somehow Beamer it out against Florida, mainly because 7-3 South Carolina will be ranked...6-4 South Carolina will not.

Also excited for the basketVOLS to open their season tonight. These next 2 months are my favorite for sports.
Is the game going to be on TV?

As if they’ve not been dominant for the last 20 years 🙄 you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone and when saban retires they we will go back to how they were in the 2000’s reflecting the good times of Bear Bryant…Alabama fans are ungrateful as f***
Poor man can't have a single down year in multiple decades of dominating the sport.

I do think NIL will be the end of Saban and to a lesser extent Kirby. No longer will all the 5* players go to UGA and bama now that everyone else is allowed to buy players too. In fact, I think NIL will prevent any single team from dominating like Bama did ever again.

I feel bad for Mizzou, SC, and Vandy. This team is going to be pissed and want the playoff rematch bad. We’re gonna score 50+ on each of them.

For all my conspiracy peeps: if Sankey wants two teams in the playoffs, us and Georgia are the best bets and we had to lose that game for us both to make it…
I’m usually not a conspiracy person, but that would not shock me either lol

This is correct. We asked for it. Got punched in the face and couldn’t handle it.

We need to win out and for TCU to lose. I think the committee would rather see us in a rematch with UGA than Oregon, but I don't see them winning out anyways.

Y’all forget Michigan and Ohio st have to play each other🥱 our schedule strength is far more impressive than either one of theirs so…we should get in if we win out after one of them lose..

Matt corral looked really bad in the preseason and hasn’t earned any playing time in the regular season…. Still early for both so we will see if they develop.
The Titans needs to give Willis some weapons foe him to develop. It's not easy to be a QB, it's even harder when you're throwing to a bunch of practice squad guys. Just ask Aaron Rodgers.

Agreed!….I can name off 4 or 5 qb’s that played at Alabama and won a ring…then went on to the nfl and lasted two years max…Bennett has had the benefit of being behind a stout OL and a stout defense every year…I don’t like him either

2015: Jake Coker
2011 & 2012: A.J. McCarron
2009: Greg McElroy

There is a chance Mac Jones ends up being a bust, but he's still in the league so left him off. Jalen Hurts was also left off since he's doing well for the Eagles (although I believe the bulk of his QB development has come from 3 seasons in the NFL)

Yeah, but the theory is that the loser of that game could still in with a close loss. AP on the Nation last night predicted just that. He predicted GA vs Michigan and The Vols vs OSU in the semis.

I dunno. Their resumes are putrid without a win over the other.

Was infuriating to watch. We kept drawing up long developing routes with our poor blocking and their blitzing. Didn’t use the middle of the field at all

I don't think it was exactly that. Hooker was 23/33 for 195. We went dink and dunk alot. He also missed 4 deep shots. It was not being able to run the ball with two high safeties.

I do agree with not adjusting to the blitz, but he hit 70% of his passes and would normally have 250+ yards with that stat line.
