Big difference in the two games...at Pitt, even though Hendon missed a couple of open recievers, he actually hit a few big shots.

He did not hit any of the long open looks against UGA....none.

UGA has A LOT better personnel then Pitt. But I agree with you on that being the comparison for the front 7's. Georgia's secondary is infinitely better than Pitt's.

I'd say narduzzi and stoops watched that game yesterday jealous as hell of UGAs personnel lol

We have all known this defense is outmanned all year. I didn't expect the offense to be this good this soon, but it is. The defense is better than it was last year...it has shown solid improvement over last year, but it is not a stud highly ranked defense, and ain't gonna be one for another couple of seasons.

That is just the way it is.

Why can't we be happy and amazed that we are competing for championships WAY ahead of schedule? What we have done is spectacular.

Just wondering what happens if KY beats GA , not saying they will but one never knows and LSU happens to beat GA in the SECG. GA can be beat, they have looked vulnerable all year. Our secondary made Bennett look better than he is and their Defense played out of their minds. Anybody want to take a stab at what happens if this plays out like that.

My GA friend called me last night and said he was surprised by the game. He told me for 2 weeks that he thought TN would win by 14 and not just him but several of his friends thought the same thing. He said for 2 weeks how bad their secondary is and cant sack the QB and Bennett was a liability. When he asked who was our DB coach and told him , he was shocked. I was living in GA when they fired Martinez and those people was happy. They wanted him fired as soon as he was promoted to DC. He use to talk about their secondary getting lit up all the time then M Richt promoted him. He could not believe how bad our secondary was and I told him 2 weeks ago it was bad.

I didn't say that UGA didn't have a lot better personnel than Pitt...I think you missed the point of my post.

Either way...better personnel or not...there were still open shots to be had.

This team is awesome, mane. I think we are better than our worst and worse than our best performance. Which apparently is good for 8-1. And we ain’t done making noise yet.

It took copious amounts of 5 stars in their own stadium, a litany of mental mistakes, and rain to beat the 2022 Vols.

I think we should drag everyone left on our schedule.

That said... USCe and Williams Bryce will be on 11 that night... Ya I think that's a night game... So we will need to be ready from the jump.

For every game we have left, if we don't make mistakes, we'll win. Williams Bryce is the only place left that would be able to feed their team if we let them. I don't think we will. But assume nothing.
