If Tennessee wins out, we don't have to worry about Oregon, USC, Bama, LSU, Clemson or the loser of the Michigan vs ohio state. They are in and would get the 3 seed if tcu loses. The last spot is between all those.

This ^^^

Just win out and it will take care of itself. The posers will drop off as they lose. Our SOS and the only loss being against the #1 seed at their place will assure it.

The committee does it correctly, not like ESPN who is all about the clicks advertising revenue. Evidence is the committee voted us #1 before the UGA game. They were impressed with our wins and SOS.

For some reason I always thought that when a play breaks down, the kicker was fair game like any ball carrier... I was wrong.

I saw it live, and I believe it was a bad call. I haven’t read the rule, but if they tried to say he was in the tackle box to the letter of the rule, then it needs to be changed.

Rule needs to change there. I think they concluded he was still in the tackle box and therefore not a ball carrier. If he'd been outside the hashes and the same thing had happened maybe he'd have been fair game? Mizzou got shafted.

Pretend the punter is a QB trying to throw it away. That wouldn't have been roughing the passer.

So the team that blocked the kick is penalized because the snap was bad but not bad enough? What an asinine rule lol

1. UGA
2. OSU
3. Michigan
4. TCU/UT
5. UT/TCU

Gonna use Rucker's tweet. I think this is how it will play out come release time this week.
This is exactly the order it will be. Once Michigan loses to OSU or TCU loses, we get back into the top four. They do not move teams out unless they lose. As long as we handle our last three teams (we will), we are in the playoff. Anyone worried about one loss pac 12 or one loss ACC champion are crazy. We have seen how the committee views those teams.

Win out and we are in the playoff. It really is that simple since Bama and Clemson lost.

I completely agree. The committee will jump a one loss Pac 12 winner over us in the final rankings.

We still need to handle our business first though. As we for sure now know, we aren’t unbeatable and the team we play next gave UGA all they could handle earlier this season.
And just lost to KY at home

I still just can’t believe we only scored 13 today. Is Georgia really that good they can just sleep walk through their games until they play a good team? Florida, mizz and Kent state all scored 20+
They took it very personal that Tennessee was ranked above them. Not trying to be that guy but our route tree should have adjusted. That man coverage was sticky. When we meet again I think their aggressiveness will be used more against them.

It was the perfect storm. Their fans were mad, Kirby was mad, at home for the biggest game ever… They came out with fire and we looked shook. Crazy, even as bad as we played that we only lost by 14. Reminded me of our game against LSU. They fumbled the opening kick and we pounced on them and they collapsed. LSU game would be much different now just like meeting UGA in the playoffs on a neutral field. The game will be much different next time.

There were two calls yesterday that just stunk. The Mizzou/UK/punter incident was the first one. The ball was live. Had Mizzou recovered it they would have taken possession. That the punter was able to recover it and punt it was lucky for them, but no way should that be roughing to tackle a guy recovering a loose ball in that situation. So ridiculous.

The other was the fumble that LSU recovered. That the Bama guy was out of bounds and touched it after the LSU guy had it in his hands, should not negate the LSU recovery. It should rule the Bama guy out as to being able to recover it. LSU made a great play causing a fumble and recovering it, then gets punished and it taken away by the guy who made the bad play with the fumble. Another great big stupid.

If we meet again, Heupel will know exactly what UGA plans to do on defense. There's no way UGA deviates from something that worked so well the first time. I think Heupel would put together a good plan of attack and it would be a competitive game.

My son just texted me and he has rewatched the game...he said he counted three times that if Hooker had hit wide open receivers that we would have won...he said it made him really nervous about playing us again.

This will always be our lot under Heupel against really great defenses. If our QBs hit those passes we win, if we don't we lose. The plays are there, there are less of them than in a normal game, and the QBs will be under pressure...but the plays will always be there.
