Pretty much. Today was a good step forward thanks to LSU and Notre Dame but conference championships still have meaning. PAC-12 will get a spot if their champion only has 1 loss.
B12 champ if its TCU might not, but USC is a huge brand that brings WC eyes. The committee would salivate having them for the ratings. We know they dont take the best teams but go for the best ratings.

So guys...if we can get back to face UGA again...now that we know what they will do, what is the gameplan to defeat that defense...plus we have to stop their offense better.
I think we did solid (better than I expected) vs their offense outside of a few big plays. 2 of which the receiver just broke the DB’s ankles. Gotta tackle better and pressure the QB tho

Establish the run early. I believe 9 of our first 10 plays were passes, which made no sense to me since it was a 5 man box most of those plays. More quick passes (quick slants, outs, hitches, short crossings), more screens. We are going to have to take what they give us and move the ball downfield with 10 play drives. Eventually they’ll bring the defense in and that’s when you can hit them with a big play

Oregon has to drop at-least 1 of their final 3, right?View attachment 511250
Maybe Utah and OR St play them tough, and they could play SC in the conf champ game. The best bet honestly is ND beats USC at the end of the season and then USC beats Oregon in the P12 champ game.
The other best bet, is TCU losing, a one loss TN easily gets in over TCU because TN has the better resume and we are a much bigger brand.

There is no reason to fret. There is a ton of season left. TCU will probably lose this week at Texas. If they manage to beat them and Baylor then they also need to win Big 12 champ game and it’s just not happening.

You already saw what the committee thinks of OSU and Michigan and their schedule so far.

LSU will not beat UGA in what will be a home game. We will be the only other 1 loss SEC team.

Clemson just got blown out on the road to an unranked team. Even if they win the conference championship their resume will not be good enough.

Oregon has three tough games coming up. They will drop 1.

USC I could see losing in pac 12 title game. But it won’t matter.

The only two solid slots will be UGA and OSU. (Michigan cannot beat Ohio State and it’s at OSU). They struggle with OSU like we do UF.

That leaves 2 slots. Big 12 is out once TCU loses. Pac 12 could get in with a 1 loss USC. That leaves the ACC. Our resume is still better than Clemson even if they win the title. If the pac 12 winner has 2 losses then Clemson will get in.

I’ve not seen any but i guarantee after todays outcomes our playoff chances are above 50 if not 60%

In addition to Oregon losing to GA by 46, Oregon could also lose to the Utah team that lost to FL. That would help.
