UGA lost to Bama by 17 points in the SECCG last season. They still made it in as a one loss team. They won the natty.

We lost to UGA by 14 points and could still make it in if Bama loses twice if we get some help in other conferences which seems to happen every year.

A great deal to play for and close the season out well.

I don't think Georgia should've gotten in given that loss. That was basically a home game for them but they had the backing of the conference and had been to the very edge of things before. The conference does not support us. Sankey's recent noise about fan storming and the lack of repercussions for Burton tell me all I need to know about where the conference stands.

We got outplayed tonight but unlike when BAMA or UGA slips up there won't be anyone in our corner to defend us.

We got our asses kicked but you know what? We’ve had a helluva season up to this point. Most of us thought 8 wins, 9 wins tops. We’re still in the hunt for the playoffs. I’m just enjoying the ride.

If we miss out on the playoff, at least we’re going to the Sugar or Orange Bowl. Not saying we’re missing the playoff, but year 2 at a big bowl game is quite the accomplishment for this staff and team.

Not sure what he was watching Bc the play calling was pretty conservative and safe. Just like the players, the coaches didn’t bring it either. Played football for about 4 hours and maybe tried to really challenge them 3 times. Also have to run the ball better against that scheme to make our offense work. They would have had to change the whole look if we were a real threat running it.

I’m not a football expert, but we always call plays based on how the defense aligns. Georgia played 2 deep safeties, and that’s why it was “conservative.” It’s been that way since Heupel has gotten here. We normally could run it, but we couldn’t run it today. It’s not like the coaches decided to run short passing plays. Hooker is taught this, and the routes are run according to the defense.

I’m so pissed. We got whooped all game long, Heupel got straight up out coached. They came ready to play and we didn’t. Props to the defense, they kept it respectable. I paid way too much money for that.

Heupel sucks!...Fahr Heupel and get a real play caller that teaches REAL football in here stat...amirite?

Or not...Hendon hits those three passes and it is a different game, and instead of us sitting here (I did it to earlier blowing off steam) saying he got "outcoached" we are calling him a genius for scheming those wide open passes against a great defense.

It is incredible the difference on perception on this game would be if HH just hits those three passes. I had to have it pointed out to me too, and I agree.
