How to defend it isn't really the issue. All these people think they know how to defend Heupel but yet nobody ever does. Heard it from every fanbase so far. Sure UGA did well last yr after the 1st qtr but none of those guys are still around except for 2.
Everybody thinks they have the answer until Heup/Golesh hit you with some heat you haven’t seen on tape at all.
We didnt have that kinda coin.I remember the Tap Room had a golf video game. If anyone actually played, guys would end up betting on it. The pressure was real if you missed a putt and your buddies lost money on you. Of course if they won, you were drinking for free![]()
I thought we played better offensively against bammer than we did KentuckyHow to defend it isn't really the issue.
It's having the personnel to a) execute at all levels of the defense and to also b) not have the mental mistakes and communication issues that this offense... Encourages....
I think Alabama and Kentucky showed issues with a&b.
Georgia's personnel are way better than Kentucky's. Maybe tick better than Bama's.
Can they not have the mistakes?
Find out in 4 hours. But the best part is we're forcing the issue. Georgia has to come up with something to stop us. They can't make us react to what they do unless they prove they can stop it.... Consistently. Pitt actually is the only team to come close to doing it, and they made two mistakes in the first half, and were losing at half time.
We're not unstoppable. But it's hard to do it enough that you're margin for error increases to a large degree. That's why Kirby hasn't been smiling a lot. A mistake against us is 6.
I never expected it to happen. I am only laughing at the people who thought I was stupid to be optimistic about the season. In general, being optimistic is much more fun than being miserable. If people are too fragile to hope for the best then that sucks for them.
And I never said you were stupid. I said people "expecting" a great season were stupid.I never expected it to happen. I'm sure you have been to heck and back. I think the difference is not rubbing others nose in your personal misery. What a load of garbage...you should walk a mile in my shoes before you call me fragile. I have been to hell and back in my life.
Being obtusely "optimistic" doesn't make you stronger than somebody that acknowledges the difficulties and likelihoods of situations. It takes a lot stronger person to accept difficulties and walk into tough situations knowing that the likelihood of success is marginal, but still giving it everything they've got, than to just go blindly in really believing everything is just going to magically be alright.
I understood where you were coming from at the start. Don't get down on the coaches while we were rebuilding. I feel the same way and I'm an optimist for the most part.. It's miraculous that we are in this position, considering what happened with Pruitt. What a load of garbage...you should walk a mile in my shoes before you call me fragile. I have been to hell and back in my life.

That is wrongIf it's like when I worked a liquor store the local police and ABC board would team up. It was always a kid who had an ID that they had just turned 20 to confuse whoever is checking. Then comes the "yep, it's my b-day. finally get to have a drink" line. One guy slipped up and the store got a week of no sales and a fine. We held the next kids ID and told him to sit down and called the police. They were there in about 30 seconds after the call. They took him outside gave him his ID back and we called another nearby store in Chatt to let them know what he looked like. 10 minutes later they called to say they had caught him too and the police did the same thing. Literally committing a crime to try to make someone commit a crime.
@VolsDoc81TX I woke up with a slight case of BVS. Tried the taser, didn’t help. Any suggestions?
