I think. they shouldve kept him one more year, see what he could do after a rebuilding year. You dont take MS St to #1 if youre not a good coach.
Plus its a lot harder to win championships in football than it is in basketball, in football one loss and your season is done.

I had a conversation with a guy (Vol grad and fan) who’s always negative and stated that being that way is honestly the cowards way out. Reason why is only one team wins per sport per year so statistically, when you’re negative, your going to be right more often than not.

What I’ve found with negative fans is that they would much rather be right than anything else so they can tell everyone they were right. It’s bush league in my books.

Oh. And we would be 3-5 this year if he were right. I started busting his balls when he was talking shiz about us being 8-0 to some of our other friends.

He recruited #9, 9, 12 lol (even better with transfers, but this was before transfers were included). It was more than enough, especially as good as he was at Xs and Os, to succeed. He took freakin Miss St to #1....lol.

He won the East in Y3 despite a dominant UGA program and fired a year later. UF admin and fans are stupid...even my UF buddy agrees. It was trigger happy and ridiculous. Napier can do nothing but recruit. As UT fans, everyone should know you MUST be able to elevate talent and have the Xs and Os. You can't merely recruit your way to great heights.

Mullen took a 4-7 team to a 10-win Y1. Napier is already at 4 losses at 4-4 He's going to be awful for them.

i really don’t get the barking, their mascot lays on a bag of ice all day, ours wants to hunt wild pigs, mountain lions, and tree raccoons all night.
