Not much UT could do. The fans Burton hit wanted it to go away. They put their names out there and got a lot of hate mail. I can see why a 100-lb female running on the field looking for her sorority sisters would be scared by that. A fully-padded guy more than twice her size-- notsomuch.

I was at Denver airport this morning and now stuck at Atlanta Hartsfield until midnight......lots of people with vols gear in both places......representing the big orange in multiple time zones!

He couldn’t build a high level program. He played well with what he inherited or took transfers. His recruiting is not good enough at a place like UF. Napier may not be dynamic, but he also didn’t inherit a bunch of great players either. Long term outlook was not good.

He recruited #9, 9, 12 lol (even better with transfers, but this was before transfers were included). It was more than enough, especially as good as he was at Xs and Os, to succeed. He took freakin Miss St to #1....lol.

He won the East in Y3 despite a dominant UGA program and fired a year later. UF admin and fans are stupid...even my UF buddy agrees. It was trigger happy and ridiculous. Napier can do nothing but recruit. As UT fans, everyone should know you MUST be able to elevate talent and have the Xs and Os. You can't merely recruit your way to great heights.

Mullen took a 4-7 team to a 10-win Y1. Napier is already at 4 losses at 4-4 He's going to be awful for them.

Mullen failed at Florida. Let that sink in. What makes them think he suddenly succeeds at KY? He struggles at recruiting.

If I wasn't clear, that was my point. It's pretty obvious from the video that she wan't interacting with him. It's also obvious that Saban wanted to plant that seed without blatantly making the accusation. It doubled as an implicit "get out of jail free" card for his player, and a veiled threat for her to let sleeping dogs lie or her life would be ruined.

You could see it coming from a mile away.

Some of us said that was coming as soon as the video showed up.
