Braves, Nationals, Rays, Astros sorta

When many of us were kids, the Nationals were a Canadian team (Montreal Expos). The Rays and the Marlins didn't even exist. The closest team was Atlanta. I grew up a Braves fan.

It's also the largest major airport to Georgia Tech. That being said, glad it's not our fanbase stalking airlines.

When I started going to braves games it was not a kickass team. There were games with like 50 people in the stands. Haha but they'll always be my team even though I don't follow baseball as much as when I was a kid.

Every team gets multiple shots at a franchise cornerstone at RT if that projection holds…it won’t. Wright will work with the OL guru in Frisco (same as Trey) before the Combine and dominate the Underwear Olympics. Paired with the clinic he’s put on the field, I’d be mildly surprised if he doesn’t go first day…shocked if not second. Different position, but errybody got their digs in on Belichick “reaching” for Cole Strange in the first round. Nary an additional giggle for the next decade.

Vegas can be slow to adopt to teams in breakout years because they are expecting them to slip up or be brought back down to earth at some point. I forget the number, think @Devo182 has posted them a couple times, but Vegas has undervalued our lines by something like 10 points average on the year. This is why a lot of pro bettors love the beginning of seasons because they like to try and find teams to exploit that they think will be overperforming expectations and then they ride them until Vegas catches up. The fact is, sometimes Vegas takes longer to catch up than other times. This is one of those times.

Yeah that's true, my older family members used to tell me that the Braves weren't always awesome, but that was very hard for me to believe as an 80's baby/90's kid.

I ordered a Hyatt jersey and a Hooker jersey for my kids three weeks ago from the Vol Shop and they're still in "Pending Fulfillment" status. Those jerseys must be on crazy backorder. As much as I'd love to have the jerseys for them already, I'm happy that our player items are selling like hotcakes and that they're allowed to share in the revenue.

Yup, I’m about to go all in on the ML. Only have $20 left in the account though.. I’m thinking about adding another $30 and putting $50 on it.

It’s safe to say we can put this to bed I would think.

He’s not (and never has been) a mercenary. He finds a home and stays when all things are equal. He left UT the first time because he wanted to coach DL. Left UGA for his alma mater when they started second guessing his coaching chops and left Auburn…because Harsin is an idiot. We have him for as long as he wants to call it a career.

I can’t with some of these uga fans man. They have posts talking about how they are going to shut us out. “Well you haven’t seen a defense like ours”…… this seems to be a running narrative for the last month and a half. Also, most media are talking about us being ok after losing this one as if it’s a foregone conclusion. I just don’t see our team having the same attitude. They haven’t flinched once.
I can’t wait to see what we do this weekend as we seem to be improving every game. 60 minutes of pain coming their way. They haven’t played an offense like ours and it seems our defense is starting to hit it’s stride too. Big Orange Train coming through, GBO!!!
