A lot of SEC fans say Tenner and Bammer and add an -er to whatever school they're referencing as a mild jab. I think it's mocking a dialect but they're mistaken about ours. I've seen them do TenneRsee as well. While it's true some dialects/accents in the area can add -r to words no one does this with Tennessee. Morons are trying to fit their own regional variations into ours. It makes no sense as that pronunciation isn't native to us and is actually more common further South but they're attempting to mock an accent.

I don't think they're making fun of us, I think that's just how they say it in Arkansas

I see your point, but she didn't say/tweet anything malicious or hurtful. She was quoting song lyrics. Now if she had a history of long winded racist rants blaming people of color for all the world's woes and wishing ill on them then that is one thing. However, quoting song lyrics when you were a teenager should not cause you to lose your job. Stoopit stuff is stoopit.

It ain't got a f'n thing to do with "sacking up"....I try to be objective with analyzing our games, and unlike most everybody else I don't assume facing the opponent at their worst, instead I assume them playing at their best.

Best on best this game is a toss-up imo on a neutral site...this game however is not at a neutral site.

We have to play our best and hope to force them into playing below theirs.


We can win this game, but they are favored by nearly everybody that is not a Vol for good reasons.


One thing I keep coming back to...we have STILL not played our best game, so maybe this will be it.

None of that is unreasonable, it is the truth and I am not afraid of the truth.

If she felt led to apologize then she certainly should do that. Which she did. I just don't like people apologizing for things like posting song lyrics like they were out there rounding up folks for a lynching every Friday night. We live in an age of social media and kids do inadvisable things on said social media. So are we going to dig back into everyone's past and cancel them for the inadvisable things they did in their youth? I hope not, cause it's stoopit.

No idea and while it's not behavior you want to see from adults, I don't think it's crazy enough to warrant national attention and playoff bans. Just unfortunate. I mean if that really is all there was to it, I don't know that all those kids should be punished for the behavior of adults. It's not their fault. Surely, though there's a backstory we're missing. Baltimore is way too big for the mayor to be involved unless there's a bigger issue/long standing problem between the schools.
