This game Saturday doesn't need to be close. It needs to be another statement game before going into Georgia week. This is one of the biggest games in school history for the Mildcats, so this needs to be a crushing defeat for them. 55-24 Vols.

I still don't think we ran the score up. 52 in the first half and the last TD was Fant throwing to Hyatt with Milton in the game.

It was homecoming, a very large number of starters won't be here next year and they were given some fun. It's why Fant got carries and a chance to throw, it's why Gaston Moore was given a greenlight to launch the last pass into the endzone, it's why Milton was throwing even with a lead. Simpson also left in his 1st team deep into the 4th so it was a great opportunity for some of the backups to face starters.

Hell they even kicked a field goal on their last drive to try and close the gap so it didn't look so lopsided. UT Martin never stopped playing to win, and I don't see any issue with Heupel allowing the backups to play to win either. If he had wanted to run the score up we would have seen Hooker throw for another 250 and 2 more TDs.

8 different players caught passes (more were targeted) & 9 different players had carries with a total of 5 players throwing passes too. Had nothing to do with running up the score, it was about getting as many real snaps to players for homecoming as possible.

I would've had no problem whatsoever if Tayven Jackson or Gaston Moore would've thrown 20 passes in the 4th. It's not fair to them to hold them back, and never let them run the O; if you can't stop my 3rd, 4th, 5th team, and my walk-on's...that's on you.

Now, I can see letting up a bit with Milton; but, he needs throwing reps, as well...and, blow outs is where the back up gets them.

After we shellac KY and UGA doesn't put away FL until the 4th qtr and OSU surprisingly sh**s the bed and lets PS pull the upset of the year, we get a bunch more #1 votes and roll into GA with a tight 1-2 matchup.

And GA comes in anxious, coming out of another needlessly close game, and Stetson turns out all hat, no cattle, and we get up by 3 scores in the 3rd before finally taking them down by a touchdown (a little unnecessary late drama because that's what we do but we come thru). Come Sunday, No. 1.

That's how the next 2 weeks play out. Book it.

Those coaches all signed higher rated guys. Now, those aren’t as high now but that’s a different argument. Pruitt didn’t even see him as a RB.

Which makes you think. What team is finally going to try to make us play underneath and beat them 10+ plays down the field.

When that scenario plays out I hope Hendon is ready to run.

We have already shown we are more than willing to take the underneath throws, if that is all that is there. On top of that, the running game will be open if the defense is trying to protect from the long ball. That is when we go super fast, because everyone is already near the LOS. Heup has a game plan for every scenario it seems that gets thrown at his offense.
